Unit5 Helping our parents(第一课时)

教学目标：

1、能听懂、会读、会说单词parents、busy；短语clean the car、

clean the table 、wash the dishes 、sweep the floor；及句子What is she\he doing?He\She is...... 2、能听懂、会读、能理解story time 部分的内容，并能简单复述。

3、能灵活运用所学短语及句子，用英语在小组内谈论家庭大扫除或公益扫除活动。

通过课文学习，充分感受父母亲的辛苦，并能立志帮助父母做力所能及的家务活。

教学重难点：

1、能听懂、会读、能理解story time 部分的内容，并能简单复述。

2、能灵活运用所学短语及句子，用英语在小组内谈论家庭大扫除或公益扫除活动。

学情分析：

学生已经充分掌握英语短语，语篇阅读理解的学习能力，本课时的短语中好多单词学生也并不陌生，所以学习起来也很轻松。只是本课时中涉及的一般现在时是学生首次接触，而且是比较抽象的语法知识，学生在理解运用上稍有难度。

教学过程: Step1: warming-up 1、Free talk T:Hello,boys and girls.I’m Miss Li,your new English teacher.Nice to meet you! S:Nice to meet you too. 2、Enjoy a chant.

Jump,jumping,I am jumping.

Swim,swimming,he is swimming.

Skate,skating,she is skating.

Sit,sitting,we are sitting. T:Do you like it?Let’s chant together. Step2:pre- reading 1、授parents T:Boys and girls, You are sitting now. Look,What is she doing?(PPT) S:She is cooking. T:What are the children doing? S:They are helping their parents.(授) 2、授clean the car 、clean the table 、sweep the floor、

wash the dishes T：

At home,What can we do for our parents? (PPT出示短语)小组自学短语，汇报朗读。

师checks并拓展教学clean、wash的相关短语。

3、句型操练

T：Our parents are very busy every day.What is she\he doing.Ask and answer one by one in your groups. (小组操练句型并展示问答。) (PPT)Learning Tips:在英语中常用“am\is\are+动词-ing”的形式来表示“现在正在做......”，这种时态叫做现在进行时。

Step3: while-reading

1、Watch and match T:Helen and Mike are helping their parents too.What are they doing?Watch cartoon and

match.Open your books to page50.(生说师板书) 2、Read and fill in the blanks T:What are their parents doing?How about Tim?Read the story silently ,underline your answers,then fill in the blanks.(page50) (生说师板书) T：Mother is cooking breakfast in the morning, she is cooking dinner in the afternoon.So mother is very busy.Tim is sleeping in the morning,he is watching TV in the afternoon.So he is free.What’s meaning of busy or free? S:Busy means 忙碌的，Free means 空闲的。

T：Why is Tim so free? S:Because he is young. T:He can’t do anything.So we should love him. 3、Happy reading! T:Read the story in your groups,You can choose the way you like. (生小组朗读并展示) T：I just have two questions.Q1:What day is it?Q2:Who comes Tim’s house in the afternoon? (生回答师板书) 4、Retell the story T:According my mind-- map,retell the story.(生练习并展示)
