教学设计

一、教材分析

《新课程标准》指出，激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生树立自信心，养成良好的学习习惯，形成有效的学习策略，发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神是小学英语教学的基本任务。培养学生一定的语感和良好的语音、语调，书写基础，以及良好的学习习惯；使他们形成初步用英语进行简单交流的能力，同时，培养学生的观察、记忆、思维和创造能力。

《Lesson 19》是六年级上册第四单元的第一课，是月份和节日相关内容的起始课。内容涉及两个月份名称（January和February）、两个节日名称（New Year’s Day和Spring Festival）以及节日的简单庆祝活动。

二、学情分析

六年级学生已经具备了基本的听说和阅读能力。但由于是单元起始课，会出现一些生词及陌生短语，个别生词会影响学生阅读理解。鉴于此，教师要通过图片、讲解等方式帮助学生解决学习过程中的困难，并尽可能联系学生已有的生活经验引导学生去理解，进而主动去说。

三、教学目标

1.知识与技能：

1.知识目标: a.掌握单词January和February,以及句子January is the first month of the year. February is the second month of the year.

b.能够理解文章内容,了解节日New Year's Day和Spring Festival; 2.能力目标:能够运用所学语言描述一月和二月以及两个节日。

3.情感态度目标:通过学习本课,学生们能有意识探究中西文化中有关不同节日的习俗和来历,丰富他们的生活经验,培养他们的跨文化交际能力。

四、教学重难点

1、熟练掌握单词：January February month year New Year’s Day Spring Festival 2、理解并准确掌握句型。

February is the second month of the year. 3、能够运用本课重点句型与他人就节日这个话题进行交流。

六、教学过程

Step 1: Warm-up/Lead-in(热身/导入) 1. Sing an English song.《Days of the week》

They are Sunday、Monday、Tuesday、Wednesday、Thursday、Friday and Saturday.

How many months are there in a year?

There are twelve months in a year. 【设计意图】通过歌曲、问答练习等作为热身活动,使学生以饱满热情投入到本节课教学中，既回顾了知识，也自然导入，为本节课的新授做好充足的铺垫，激发了学生的求知欲和学习兴趣。

通过学习让学生充分了解中国的传统风俗及习惯，起到对祖国传统文化的传承作用。教育学生要热爱祖国，热爱我们的家人。
