Unit 3 Lesson 13 Teaching style: new lesson Teaching aims: 1.Knowledge aims: 1)能够理解说出This is my father.He is a writer.This is my mother.She is a singer. 2)能够正确的听、说、认读单词writer,singer。
3)能够听、说、认读、写出单词this、 family、father、 mother 、love。以及会句型This is my mother. This is my father. He| She is a···进行交流。
2. Ability aims: 能够熟练的用英语简单的向周围的朋友介绍自己家人及家人的职业。
3. Emotion aims: 进一步激发学生学习英语的兴趣,在课堂活动中表现出一定的参与能力和合作能力,通过对职业的了解,体会父母工作的辛苦,激发学生对父母的爱。
Teaching important points: 会运用This is my… He| She is a···进行交流。
Teaching difficult points: 能够在日常生活中自如的以职业为话题进行简单的交流。
课前准备:PPT课件,自己的家庭照片。学生的全家福。
学情分析:五年级学生具备一定的英语语言基础,有着强烈的参与能力及表达能力。
Teaching steps: Before the class I will divide the whole students into two groups to have a competition. Step 1 warming up 1. Greetings T: Good morning boys and girls! Ss: Good morning teacher! T:I’m your new English teacher.Can you talk about me? Ss:You are beautiful. You are...(让三五个学生来描述老师) T: I will introduce myself to you.(大屏幕展示照片并提供关键词) My name is Zhang Dan. I’m 29 years old. I’m from China.I like making friends and taking photos. Look! I took a photo for my friend. Do you know him? Ss: Yes. 设计意图:这一步骤起到了承上启下的衔接作用,既是对前两单元内容的复习又能由该图片自然导入本课。
Step 2 Presentation 1.T:Who’s this boy?(大屏幕出示Tom的图片及提示语) Ss: He is Tom.
2.T:Do you want to know something more about Tom? Read the text and fill in the blanks.(让学生对文本有初步的了解,完成阅读任务。读两分钟后让几个学生给出答案,完成Tom的信息表)。
设计意图:由浅入深从图中所给信息让学生初步了解课文,引入图中情境,让学生在大的语言背景下进入文本
Step 3 Practice 1.Listening practice T: let’s do some listening.Listen and answer these two questions. 1)
What does Tom’s father do? 2)
What does Tom’s mother do? 第一次略听初步得到答案,第二次精听敲定答案。
当学生回答出Tom’s father is a writer.Tom’s mother is a singer.的时候对writer和singer进行讲解,举例说明 Bingxin is a writer.Na Ying is a singer.Writer 同样举例说明。为了突破重点分别进行训练。

Reading practice: 1) Read after the tape. 2) Read by yourselves. 3) Look at the photo of Tom’s family. Can you talk about the text?

And then he says something about his family. This is my mother. She is a …This is my father. He is a … At last,he says the love to his family. 教师边写板书边边讲解,帮助学生理请课文脉络。
给学生几分钟自己练习的时间,尽量达到看黑板能复述课文的程度
设计意图:让学生能够在脱离课本的情况下,通过对课文的深入透彻学习能用自己的语言来谈谈文本内容,既对本课内容起到总结的作用,又对后面介绍自己的家庭做铺垫。
Step 4Additional practice 1. T: I have a happy family. This is my husband .He is a policeman. This is my little son .He is a happy boy. This is me. I am an English teacher. We are a happy family.(教师出示自己的家庭照片对自己的家人及职业进行介绍) 设计意图:为学生介绍自己家人及家人职业做示范。
2.Take out your family photos and talk about your family to us.(让学生自己练习一段时间能够熟练的介绍自己的家人及职业) 3.在屏幕上会看到几个不同颜色的瓶子,让学生任选其一,会出现不同的家庭照片,然后来介绍。
设计意图:通过学生对自己家人的介绍突破本课的重难点,同时,达到学以致用的目的,也是本次课最高要求。能够在现实生活中运用语言。
Step 5Summary(情感升华) 1.I believe everyone has a happy family .What does “family”mean? Let’s look video film. (让学生观看family的公益广告)。
2. T:What does “family”mean? Ss:Father and motherI love you ! 3.评比结果,黑板上会用磁扣字母构成“happy”和“family”两个单词,
T:Team 1 gets“happy”.Team2 gets“family” .So we are a happy family.We are all the winners in this class.Thank you everyone. 设计意图:通过本次课的学习让学生在情感上与我产生共鸣,同时激发学生对父母的爱。
