At the zoo 教学目标

知识目标：

1．句型：能够听懂、会说句型 It’s (so)tall/short…

来描述动物的外形特征。

2. 听、说、认读五个单词 tall short fat thin；

3．理解Let’s do部分的内容，听懂指示语，并能按要求做出相应的动作。

能力目标：能够在图片、实物或情景的帮助下运用句型。It’s（so）…. 教学重点、难点: 1.重点是用tall short fat thin五个新单词的音和义以及运用句型“Look at the/that…. It’s so …”描述动物的外形特征是本课的教学重点。

2.四个形容词的在实际生活中运用是本课教学的难点。

教学资源: 1.教师自制多媒体课件；

2.投影仪、视频展台和大屏幕；

3.歌谣、歌曲的录音。

教学过程: Ⅰ.Warm-up 1. Greetings. 2. Let’s chant. Ⅱ.Review & Presentation 1. T: Boys and girls: “Look at the pictures. What are they?”Ss: They’re animals. T: Where are the animals? Ss: They are in the zoo. T: Do you like…? Ss: Yes, I do. T: Do you want to go to the zoo? Ss: Yes, I do.

2.Review the sentences : What’s this?/What’s that? It’s a ......,Let the students know the difference of “this”and “that”. T： What’s that? S1: It’s a …. T: What’s this? S2:It’s a …. 3.教学新词： tall short fat thin以及句子It’s（so）…. (1) T: Look at that giraffe. It’s so tall. Let’s do: Be tall, be tall, be tall,tall,tall. T: Look at that baby giraffe. It’s so short. Let’s do:Be short, be short, be short,short,short. (2) 两个小组游戏，轮流用 A: Look at that…. B: It’s so …. (3)T: Look at that monkey. It’s so fat. Let’s do: Be fat, be fat, be fat,fat,fat. （2）Listen and do 学生听指令做动作，以集体、个别、小组等形式操练。

Ⅳ Consolidation & Extension 1.Fill in the blanks. 2.Describe the cartoons or friends. Ⅴ Homework 1.Draw your favourite animal and describe it.（画一画你最喜欢的动物并描述他的特征来。）
