【Teaching Aims】

1.Knowledge and ability: 1) 能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意。

2) 能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话，并能进行角色表演。

3) 能够在情景中运用句型What’s the weather like in New York? It’s rainy. 问答某地天气情况；能够运用句型Is it cold? Yes, it is. No, it isn’t. 确认某地天气状况并能运用句型It’s 26 degrees.表述气温。

4) 能够在语境中理解生词和短语New York, rainy, how about, degree的意思，并能正确发音。

5) 能够完成Let’s play的活动，认真观察配图了解一些国家的国旗、重要城市及天气情况，能运用句型What’s the weather like in Beijing? It’s cool and rainy. 问答某城市的天气。

【Teaching Procedures】

分组:Today, I divided you in to two groups, girls you are red group, boys you are blue group. Step 1 Warm-up

1.Greeting

Good morning boys and girls,How are you today? What’s the weather like today ? 【设计意图】通过师生相互间问候，引出谈论天气状况。

2.Chant 【设计意图】通过热身环节引入chant，节奏明快、动作活泼，学生热情很高。复习了气温单词、句型。How’s the weather ? We can also say:What’s the weather like ?(板书贴出来) 3.Watch a weather report 【设计意图】通过热身环节引入weather report。复习了A,learn气温单词、句型.

同时引导学生总结归纳出与天气有关的单词，头脑风暴。贴天气的卡片，并通过游戏方式复习单词。

Step 2 Presentation

1.Now,Chen Jie and Mark. They are talking on the phone. Let’s listen and answer. What’s the weather like in New York? “What’s the weather like in New York?”

A.I t’s hot.

B. It’s rainy. 播放下雨动画，Follow me “rainy”两遍，“It’s rainy”两遍(4~4回答句子)（板书）

【设计意图】rainy对于学生来说比较简单，所以跟读两遍就引导学生回答句子It’s rainy.做到词不离句，在情境中作答。

2.Let’s go back to the phone. Watch and answer.

B. No, it isn’t. S1:Choose B. No, it isn’t. 3.Let’s go back to the phone. Watch and answer.（播放带文字的视频）

What’s the temperature in Beijing ? S2: It’s 26 degrees. 4.T:But why does Mark think that 26 centigrade is very cold? Look at here, every group has the same chances of adding points. Look; 26 centigrade is here.But, 26 fahrenheit is there, so

26 centigrade = -3 fahrenheit,so, is very cold . 5.Focus on me , And try to use these sentences to answer me.

T:Is it warm? Ss: Yes, it is.

T:Is it hot? S1:No,it isn’t. It’s 6 degrees.

T:Is it ...?

Ss: No, it isn’t. It’s ... degrees.

【设计意图】通过评价方式的刻度转换成温度计，

将学生分组奖励的表格画成一个温度计，同时讲解并练习，通过直观的对比26度，很自然很明了的理解了摄氏度和华氏度的区别，突破难点。

togrther.将温度和天气现象适当结合形成短语，拍手说出。

教师先示范两张图片，包括伦敦和北京，提出这两个城市天气的特别，渗透天气常识，尤其通过北京雾霾发起保护环境、净化空气的环保意识。然后小组内练习其他四组。

Call your friend and talk about the friend.在纸上写下自己假期想去的城市，然后给朋友打电话，询问各自天气和自身现状。将所学运用到生活情境中去，并扩展对话。

【设计意图】通过游戏练习,从单词到句型，从听读到说写，教师充分做好示范，分层次使个人、小组和全班同学都得到练习，比跟着老师的兴趣要高很多。运用不同的猜答方式使学生在热情的氛围中练习教学重点。
