一、教材分析

本单元的话题是My home。家与我们的日常生活密切相关，学生对家的布局都有比较清晰地了解，本课学习的词句也是日常生活中使用频率很高的用语。本部分是第四单元Part B 部分的词汇教学。教材所给的情境是一幅温馨的家庭居室内部场景。通过这个情境，呈现了五个单词—bed, sofa, phone, table, fridge的词形和意义。通过三年级下册Unit5的学习，学生已学过介词in/on/under和句型Where is…?It’s in/on/under the…。通过四年级Unit1和Uint2的学习，学生掌握了单词near，也掌握了询问颜色的句型What colour is it?此外，在三、四年级的学习积累中，学生掌握了颜色类、描述类（big, small等）、食物和物品类（watermelon, window等）这些词汇，均为本节课的学习打下了铺垫。

二、学情分析

四年级的学生对英语学习已经有了一定的经验并养成了良好的学习习惯，他们对英语学习有强烈的兴趣和求知欲。他们好奇心强，爱说，爱玩，善于模仿，直观形象记忆能力比较强，我们要充分利用这些特点进行精心地课堂设计。在本单元中，学生在第一课时学会了家庭各个房间的名称，初步识记了单词，但是还不是很牢固，需要进一步强化。本节课中创设了多种活动，让学生从中体会到家的温暖，让学生热爱自己的家，孝敬自己的父母。

三、教学目标

（一）知识目标

1. 能够听、说、认读5个有关家具、家电的单词：sofa,bed,phone,table,fridge。

2.掌握句型Where are the…? They’re …。

（二）技能目标

1.通过学习，能够在语境中正确运用这5个词组描述家具及家电。

2.能熟练运用句型Where are the…? They’re …询问物品位置并作出回答。

（三）情感目标

能够感受到家的温馨，从而激发学生爱家、爱家人的情感。

Step 1 Warm-up（2mins）

Step2 Presentation(15mins) 1.Leading in: Tell a story of the Little Match Girl. T：Do you like fairly tales? OK, I want to share a story with you. 【设计意图：创设情境，运用学生熟知的童话人物----卖火柴的小女孩，学生作为小天使帮助她建立一个漂亮而温暖的家，激趣导学，让学生在任务驱动下进行学习。】

2.Teach the new words：fridge, table T: Angels. Let’s help her! Magic, magic,magic word!! Look! T：Look! It’s a fridge! Look at the word, i sounds[ɪ], f-ri-dge.Let’s spell the word. S:（Spell）

3.Teach the new word：sofa T:I think, maybe it’s time to have a rest. Help her，please. How many sofas do you see?(出示2个不同颜色、不同大小的沙发)It’s big/small. What colour is it?Where are the sofas? 【设计意图：进一步操练句型Where are the…?在有意义的情景中继续操练新词，词不离句，巩固本节课的重点词句。并且在单词教学中注重语音教学，适当拓展单词。】

Step4 Practice(8mins) Show time----introduce your lovely house (1)Teacher gives a example. (2)Students talk in pairs. 【设计意图：教师首先介绍自己的家，用一些学过的句型和单词进行简单描述，唤起学生对旧知的回忆。学生两人合作，用本节课学的句子加上原来学过的句型，对自己的家进行描述，同时，为下一步情感升华做铺垫。】
