一、教学目标：

1、

能够听、说、读、写序数词及简写形式：twelfth(12th), twentieth(20th), twenty-first(21st), twenty-third(23rd),thirtieth(30th) 2、初步了解一个月份中日期的表达方式。

3、让学生能自己总结出序数词表达的基本规律。

二、教学重点：

1、Words:twelfth(12th), twentieth(20th), twenty-first(21st), twenty-third(23rd), thirtieth(30th)的学习。

2、Sentences：When is your birthday? When is Grandpa’s/... birthday? It’s on....的学习。

三、教学难点：

关于生日的灵活问答，尤其是回答中月份和日期的正确表达。

四、教学准备：

PPT Word cards 五、教学过程：

Step1.Warm up&Review 1)Free talk: T:Hello,lovely children! Ss:Hello,Miss.... T:When is New Year’s day? Ss:It’s on Jan. 1st. ...... 2）Revision：Look at the word cards and read together. Step2.Presentation&Practice I、Lead-in: 1)

Flash game:Look at the PPT.Ss read the date quickly and correctly.Eg:1st,5th,August 1st,July 5th.... 2)

Holiday wheel A:When is May Day? B:It’s on May first. 3)

Special days’ pictures

T：When is the math test?. S: It’s on Oct. 4th.... Pair work:Choose one picture.Then ask and answer with your partner. Ⅱ、Present&Practice: 1） Go over the old words: one , first;two , second ; three third ....(教师说基数词时,学生说序数词;教师说序数词时，学生说基数词)

PPT show:基数词1—10，序数词1—10.结合基数词变序数词的规律，观察其变化，并将规律灵活运用。

根据规律之一：遇见ve改f,再加th,利用旧词five的变法，引出新词12 twelve的教学，并板书:twentieth 20th. 4）根据规律之一：遇见y改ie,再加th,引出新词20 twenty和30 thirty的教学，并板书：thirtieth 30th. 5）Game time:打地鼠（以游戏的方式熟读12th,20th,30th）,最后一只地鼠呈现21st,为新词教学做铺垫。

Teach the new words：twenty-first(21st),show the word cards:August st21.T:Robin is coming.Robin says:When is your birthday,Wu Yifan?引出Wu Yifan:It’s on Aug.21st. 7)

利用单词卡片引出Wu Yifan’s Mum.Robin（T）：When is Mum’s birthday?引出twenty-third(23rd),Wu Yifan(Ss):It’s on Feb.23rd. 8)

Teach all the new words.Then point either picture and read it correctly. 9)Ask and answer:巩固新词及句子认读

1、在四线格中正确抄写单词twelfth(12th),twentieth(20th),twenty-first(21st),twenty-third(23rd),thirtieth(30th),每个单词写五遍。

2、熟读基数词变序数词的规律。

3、用英语询问你家人的生日。
