Period 1 Mike's summer camp 一、教学目标

(Learning objects)：

1.复习巩固Unit3月份节日及Unit4的序数词。

2.复习巩固Unit5和Unit6相关的名词性物主代词、现在进行时。

3.完成第66页的活动。

二、教学内容：书的66页与67页

五、教学过程（Learning steps）

Step 1 Warm-up and revision

1 T:When is your birthday? S: It's on April 4th. T :Whose pen is that? S: It's mine. 2 Review Unit 4 to Unit 5 words and sentences Step2 Presentation(新课展示) 1.Show a flashcard. （教师出示夏令营的照片）

T:What are these photos about？

学习词组：summer camp 2. Show a picture of Mike.

T:Who is at the summer camp? Ss: Mike. 3. Show the four pictures.(教师出示课本第一题中的四幅图) T：Mike is at the summer camp. What will he do? Can you guess? 让学生仔细观察图片，引导学生尽可能多地说出相关的动词与活动名称。

4 Listen to the tape and match the pictures. T: Now, let' s listen and match. 然后教师播放录音(由四段小对话组成),请学生做第66页的第一个听力活动:听录音,将图片与相应的日期连线。听力过程中,教师注意训练学生对夏令营所举办的活动与时间的细节捕捉。如果学生提取信息有困难,教师可以分段多次播放录音。

5. Check the answers. 教师追问: Who is calling Mike?并引导学生回答:Mum 6. T:Yes, Mum knows Mike's summer camp schedule. But she wants to know what Mike is doing now. Let’s listen to dialogue2 and tick the right picture. 教师再次播放录音, 请学生做第二个听力活动,即再次听录音,选图片。在听的过程中,教师引导学生关注人物正在做的事情,复习动词现在进行时态的语法项目。做完后全班一起校对答案。

7.教师提出要求说: Let' s listen to dialogue 1 and dialogue 4. Choose the right answers.教师再次播放录音,请学生做第三个听力活动,即第三次听录音,完成多项选择题。在听的过程中,教师引导学生关注有关月

份和行为规范的表达。做完练习后全班一起校对答案。

8. T: If you are Mike's mum, what else will you say to Mike? You can say: Be a good boy,Mike. Please..请学生先同桌间说一说,然后发言。

9.教师再次呈现夏令营图片

T: What are the children doing at the summer camp?请学生用现在进行时描述图片。

10.Work in pairs. 教师提问: Do you like the summer camp? If you are at the summer camp, what are you doing there?请学生同桌间说一说,然后发言。

Step3 Drill (趣味训练·师生共建) 1.教师分别呈现2012、2013、2014的年历,提问: How many months are there in a year? What are they?引导学生一一回答出12个月份的单词。教师将这些月份的缩写词卡贴在黑板上。

2.教师提问: How many days are there in a month? How about January/June/Mach?引导学生回答出随机的几个月份中各有几天。

3. T: Now, please read the chant in your book, and write the months in the correct column. 请学生阅读韵诗,完成填表活动。

4.校对答案时,教师指导学生用拳头识别月份大小。教师在板书上画上大大的拳头简笔画,然后引导学生一起左手握拳,手背朝上,按照课本第67页的图示进行活动。教师示范,向学生说明:从食指骨节开始数起,

凸起骨节代表的月份为大月,凹下的骨间代表的月份为小月。最后将大小月的结果呈现在黑板上(即将这些月份缩写的词卡贴到拳头图画的相应处),并校对学生表格中的答案。

5.教师呈现韵诗中的句子: February has twenty- eight alone.请学生跟读录音。教师问:Does every February have 28 days?引导学生观察课件中2012-2014年的日历,找出不样的一年,即2012年的2月有29天。

6.此时日教师说:Yes.并呈现韵诗最后两句: Except in leap year. During a leap year, February has 29 days.请学生跟读录音。然后教师问: What does leap year mean? Which year is the leap year, 2012, 2013, or

2014?学生回答:2012.

必要时可用汉语简要解释“闰年”的概念。

7.教师播放韵诗录音,第一遍请学生先整体欣赏,第二遍尝试和着录音跟读,第三遍重点跟读难句。最后请学生自由朗读,并请几个学生展示。

8.T: I like every month in the year, but my favourite month is January. My birthday is in January 18th, and New Year's Day is in January, too. What about you?

What festival comes in your favourite month? Please talk in pairs.学生同桌说一说自己喜欢的月份中都有什么节日,然后发言。

Step4 Play a game: Animals and dates. 1教师请三个学生合作,每个人扮成一个动物,示范课本第67页的句子接龙游戏,对话示例如下
