ⅤTeaching procedure Step1. Warming up 1. Greetings 2. Sing a song < How old are you?> 3. A birthday party T：Look！It’s a birthday party. Let’s go to the party. But you should pass three steps. (设置比赛机制：积累一定数量的卡片，可以换得相应的礼物。) 设计意图：同学生问好，拉近师生关系。利用歌曲，营造轻松愉快的学习氛围。通过设置比赛，激发学生学习欲望。

Step2. Leading-in 1. Look and read One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight... 设计意图：复习以前学过的1-20数字单词，为后面的数字学习做好铺垫。

2. Talk about your age

How old are you? I’m... 设计意图：复习句型，为后面交际活动做铺垫。

Step3. Learn the new words 1. Try to read Thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, hundred 2. Rules of Final- ty in cardinal numbers. 设计意图：最后一关闯关中引出今天所学单词，通过游戏不断激发学生学习的欲望和积极性。学完新单词后，再让学生仔细观察，发现整十的基数词规律。

Step4. Practice 1. Magic eyes 2. Calculate 设计意图：通过游戏，考察学生的思维能力和单词掌握情况。

Step5. Guess Whose birthday is it today？

设计意图：设置悬念，并通过提供相关信息，让学生猜测今天谁过生日。此环节，学生需合作讨论，并收集相关信息，共同找到答案。

Step6. Sing a song < Happy birthday >

设计意图：最后学生们找到答案，今天是Tony的5岁生日，然后一起唱生日歌，在歌声中结束今天的课。
