ⅤTeaching procedure Step1. Warming up 1. Greetings 2. Sing a song < How old are you?> 3. A birthday party T:Look!It’s a birthday party. Let’s go to the party. But you should pass three steps. (设置比赛机制:积累一定数量的卡片,可以换得相应的礼物。) 设计意图:同学生问好,拉近师生关系。利用歌曲,营造轻松愉快的学习氛围。通过设置比赛,激发学生学习欲望。
Step2. Leading-in 1. Look and read One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight... 设计意图:复习以前学过的1-20数字单词,为后面的数字学习做好铺垫。
2. Talk about your age
How old are you? I’m... 设计意图:复习句型,为后面交际活动做铺垫。
Step3. Learn the new words 1. Try to read Thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, hundred 2. Rules of Final- ty in cardinal numbers. 设计意图:最后一关闯关中引出今天所学单词,通过游戏不断激发学生学习的欲望和积极性。学完新单词后,再让学生仔细观察,发现整十的基数词规律。
Step4. Practice 1. Magic eyes 2. Calculate 设计意图:通过游戏,考察学生的思维能力和单词掌握情况。
Step5. Guess Whose birthday is it today?
设计意图:设置悬念,并通过提供相关信息,让学生猜测今天谁过生日。此环节,学生需合作讨论,并收集相关信息,共同找到答案。
Step6. Sing a song < Happy birthday >
设计意图:最后学生们找到答案,今天是Tony的5岁生日,然后一起唱生日歌,在歌声中结束今天的课。
