Unit 3 Colours 一、单元分析

本单元以“颜色”为主题,涉及八种常见颜色。在本单元学习中,学生将接触制作手工风筝并为其上色的相关表达、询问数量和颜色的疑问句式、描述事物颜色的陈述表达和一首韵律。通过本单元的学习,学生能够准确的听、说、认读本单元重点颜色单词red, blue, yellow, green, pink, pruple, brown and orange以及句式表达

“Is it..?”的其他回答“Yes/No.”

Ss have learned some words of colors and numbers. And they have learned the sentence pattern “What color is it?” In this lesson they will continue to learn some sentence patterns like “How many...?”

“Is it...?”. For children, to pronounce “Is it...” and “It is...” correctly and smoothly might be a little bit difficult. Contents -How many kites? -Seven. -Is is blue? -No. Aims To understand the meaning of the sentence patterns “How many... ?”

“Is it...?” and can answer these questions correctly. To apply the sentence patterns correctly and flexibly. Key points and difficulties

To practise the sentence patterns and make more sentences and dialogues; To pronounce “Is it...” correctly and to make sentences and dialogues correctly with using the colour words.

Teaching procedures 1.

Greeting T greets ss with saying “How are you, children?” while ss respond with saying “I am fine, thank you.” or “very well, and you?”

Warm up+ Revision

T plays the finger rhyme with ss. (one finger*2, turn*3, turn to a nail, ding*3...) (2)

T shows some colourful blocks as well as the table on P15 behind which hiding a point. Ss who answer the question correctly can get the point for their team. 3.

Presentation+ Practice (1)

T tells ss spring has come and invites ss to go for an outing. And then T shows her bag picture on the ppt slide and leads ss to observe what does she have in her bag. In this process, T shows several pictures of fruits such as apples, pears, bananas as well as some of toys like kites, balloons and balls. With showing pictures T will leads ss to practice asking “How many...s?”

When ss are getting familiar with the pattern, T will invites some volunteers to ask questions. And then ss work in pairs to make their dialogue according to the information T offered on the ppt slide.

T: How many apples? Ss:...(ss count and answer) (3)

After then, T shows some fruits pictures and asks ss to observe

what color is the fruit, meanwhile, leads ss to practising “Yes, it is. ” and “No, it is not.”

T plays the guessing game with ss to help them practising “How many...?”. T shows some unpainted pictures and leads to guess what color is it by asking “Is it...?” After practice ss work in pairs to make dialogues according to the information T offered on the ppt slides. (5)

T tells ss she had a photo about May and her family. And they also went for an outing a few days before. T shows the picture on book P15 and plays the audio. Ss listen and try to figure out what does it say. And then T leads ss to read it out. 4.

Production T shows the photo she took before and ss observe the photo and figure out how many apples, pears...in the photo. And then work in pairs to make a dialogue . S1: How many...? S2: ...(S2 counts and answer) S1: Is it...? S2: Yes, it is./ No, it is not. 5.
