Unit5 What is the weather like today? 1.

Teaching aims

Knowledge aim: Be able to learn ,say, recognize the new words and phrases: sunny ,windy, cloudy ,rainy ,snowy , weather report

Ability aim: Master the new phrases, make sentence with the new structure

Emotion aim : Learn how to express the weather

Teaching steps:

Step 1 : Warming up T: Good morning , boys and girls.(课前分组,Ta and Tb) Ss: Good morning ,Miss Lei. T:How are you feeling now?

Ss:I am feeling very happy/tired/sad/angry. T: Yeah. All of you did good jobs. Today I bring a new friend to you. He wants to make a friends and have a class with you . OK. Look , he is coming. (画一只小狗,Bingo.然后跟着小狗Bingo一起唱“Bingo song”)

Step 2: Lead in

用天气预报的歌曲《渔舟晚唱》引出课题“What is the weather like today?”询问学生是否知道相关天气,并观察PPT课件,让学生告知不同天气,引出短语“weather report”

Step 3: Presentation

T: Look , What is the weather like today? 呈现

Ss: 晴天

T:Yes, sunny. Read after me , sunny –sunny-sunny.黑板上呈现sunny,用自然拼读法教授。用“touch the card ”游戏让每一个学生学会sunny 的读法。最后总结

--What is the weather like today?

--It is cloudy.

后面的单词一次用多媒体课件呈现出来。并用“touch”

“catch”“jump”等游戏进行单词操练。最后用“苹果蹲”游戏整体练习。

Step4: Practice

用所学单词和句型进行一问一答。然后用传话游戏进行

句子练习。然后打开课本,进行课堂对话,听录音,生根度,最后分角色朗读。

Step5:Homework 1.

Copy the new words. 2.

Make up your new conversation about the weather .

课堂最后数每组所得的奖励,并对获胜组表扬。
