By the end of the lesson , the students will be able to

1.To listen and understand what are they talking about in Let’s talk .

2.To describe four seasons and know what activities are suitable for different seasons .

3.Realize the importance of the nature and form a good habit of loving our hometown .

Pre-task preparation

Step 1. Greeting & warming up :

Let’s chant : Sing a song about the month.

Step 2. Ask and answer

What can you see in the picture ?

1. Which is your favorite season?

Spring /Summer /Autumn /Winter

Why? Because ….

2. There are four seasons in a year.

3.What color are they ?

4.What can you do in this season ?

T: So autumn is cool but rich . It begins from September to November .The trees become red and yellow , the mountains become very beautiful . And we can go out to play ,we can also pick apples . Winter is cold , We can go out to make a snowman and throw snowball .

My favorite season

There are four seasons in a year . Each season has three months . My favorite season is spring . It’s warm and trees are green . Many kinds of flowers come out . We can go out to fly kites with my parents . Sometimes we plant trees on Tree Planting Day . How happy we are !
