Analysis of the Teaching Material

This part is from book three, unit 5. This unit mainly talks about clothes and two expressions to ask and give advice to wear clothes correctly in different season and weather. This unit also focuses on caring about others when you give your advice.

Analysis of Learners

The students have learned English for two years. Most of them are interesting in English. When students are in the creating situation, they can easily understand the main scene and the sentence patterns.

Teaching Objectives

By the end of the class, students should be able to: ①integrate in the setting situation to listen to and understand the

words of clothes and sentence patterns, then use the proper words into patterns and proper sentence in a creating situation. (language skill &language knowledge) ②develop the students’

abilities of reading and practicing the dialogue. (language ability) ③train and develop their abilities of communication and cooperation in a real situation based on students’ comprehensive quality. (language ability) ④make the right choice of clothes in different weather and seasons. (affect) ⑤care for others and appreciate others’ concerns. (affect)

Important Points &Difficult Points ①Important Points: read and understand the sentence patterns “What should I wear today?” and “You should wear…”

②Difficult Points: use the sentence pattern to express their thoughts in the proper situation and imitate the sentence correctly.

As is known to us, a good teaching method requires that the teacher should help students develop a good sense of English language. for achieving this goal, I will use the following methods to cultivate students’ ability and quality of thinking.

Step1 warming-up 教学内容

教师通过与学生的相互问候询问
