Unit 2 Lesson 2 My school I. The analysis of the teaching material This period mainly starts the topic about the school. Through this period, the students could control the content about the topic.

II. The analysis of the students

The students in Grade 3 have some basic on English and they can use the simple English to describe things. It has offered good precondition for learning this period. But the students are not in the same learning level, which demands the teachers to teach according to the student's ability, to organize all kinds of teaching activities and to meet the needs of different learning levels. The students in Grade 3 have have strong desire of performance. According to their characteristics I designed the teaching activities.

Ⅲ. Teaching goals：

1.Knowledge aims: Learn to listen, say and read . 2. Ability aims: Learn to retell the passage. 3. Emotion aims: Through understanding the passage and finishing writing, students can know they should love their school as their homes.

…?Yes, we do. No, we don’t.Students can write key sentences correctly. Difficult points: Learn to write about “My school” and to expand the usage of passage. Ⅴ. Teaching theories and methods 1. Teaching methods:

To arouse the students’ interest and change their learning attitude, I select direct-vision method ,

situation teaching method and Task-based method.

2. Learning Strategies: The students mainly use the learning methods of active participation, Autonomic learning , Discovery learning and Question exploration .

3.Teaching aids: In this class, I develops the channels of their study and English utilization by using educational technology fully, like PPT, CD Rom, Mini Course, Smart Board and so on. Ⅵ. Teaching procedures Step1:Warming-up and revision 1、Let students play a game together. The song can arouse the enthusiasm of class. 2、Revise the words. T: I will show some pictures about rooms. S: See the pictures and say words. T:I will also let them guess a riddle. We can run and play football in this place. After that, I will show them a picture. I will divide you into three groups.Group one Group two and group three.Which group answer correctly,will get a flower. Teacher will ask where is the …?

T: I will read this passage for you.You read follow me. After that,according to questions, students read this passage with their partner and talk about these answers. S:Students answer these questions. T:I will find two students to read this passage for many times. S:Reading this passage. play a role. Teacher and girls play Yaoyao. Practice dialogue.Two people in a group. Perform dialogue. T:Read together.
