Group work Group work Finish after class Step 1 Lead-in 1.Ask students to watch a short video and pause in the middle to talk about the first impression of the young man, Then go on watching to see the end of the story. 2.Look at several photos and make a conclusion about this young man. 3.Lead to the topic of this lesson. Step 2 Fast Reading Read paragraph 1 to 4 quickly to predict/guess what will happen in the end. Answer:The author is going to tell us something unexpected, which is totally different from her first impression of that girl. Step 4 Careful Reading Get to know the structure of this narrative article. 1.Ask the students to read the whole passage again and divide them into three parts. 2.Find out the W4 H1 of each part, and summarize the main idea.
