教材分析
本套教材人民教育出版社义务教育英语教科书(一年级起点)是基于一系列学生熟悉的相关话题展开的。五年级上册第四单元主要讲述跟学习用品相关的购物。本节课是位于本教材的第四单元最后一课时故事,本课主要通过Peter去宠物店买狗的环节展开,来告诉学生要关爱宠物以及想要做什么就要及时去做,不要犹豫。五年级的学生对于自己喜爱的东西能够描述的非常清楚,当我们学习完课文后,学生们是非常乐于用新学的知识来描述他们喜好的,并从中寻求很多的快乐。
学情分析
本教材授课对象是五年级的学生,经过四年多的英语学习,他们已经不是完全由兴趣主导的年龄了,逐渐由感性的理解转化为理性的理解。针对学生的这一特点,本课所有的设计都是以激发学生的学习兴趣为基础,以知识的应用扩展为目的。学生被要求对知识进行一定的理解和创新,在学习中,学生们会慢慢体会到英语知识在实际生活中的应用。虽然学生们会感到一点点难,但经过努力,他们能够完成各项任务。
教学目标
学习目标:
1.学生能够将本课文用英语进行续写。
技能目标:
1.通过本节课的学习,能够自由描述想要买的物品并与人沟通。 2.通过各种活动,培养学生的听力、口语和写作能力。
情感目标:
1.通过本节课的学习,培养学生关爱动物的品质。 2.在小组内进行各种活动,培养学生的合作意识,体验英语学习的快乐。
学习策略:
2.能够用英语复述本课课文。
1.通过小组合作学习,培养学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务的能力。
2.在chant活动中激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生学习的注意力。
3.在设计课堂听音,模仿环节中,培养学生语音语调。
教学重点及难点
教学重点:Could listen and retell the story. 教学难点:Students could use new phrases and sentences to describe the animals they want. 教学基本策略及设计思路
1.面向全体学生,关注语言学习者的不同特点和个体差异。在整个教学过程中,教师始终以小组合作学习为主,让每个学生都参与其中,成为课堂的主人。在操练环节中,教师通过让学生听音并模仿,来培养学生的语音语调,让每个学生都能感受到自身的提高,有成就感。
2.整体设计目标,充分考虑语言学习的语用环境。在单词、句型的学习环节中,我先让学生们整体感知语言材料。
3.强调学习过程,重视语言学习的实践性和应用性。教师在整个教学中,设置真实的语境,主张学生在语境中接触、体验和理解真实语言,并在此基础上学习和运用语言。形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习能力。

Peter的板书)Let’s look at together. 二、Presentation (出示图片,播放全文、录音,隐藏文字)
T: What does Peter want? S:He wants a puppy. T:Does he get it? S:No. T:Why? S: The puppy is gone. T:Yes the puppy is gone . So, where is the puppy? Now, we will go into the story of Peter and the puppy ,and help Peter find the puppy (播放图1录像)
T: From this passage ,can you guess Peter’s mood/feeling?
S:..... T: Peter wants to get the puppy quickly .So we can say Peter is anxious.

T: What does the puppy look bike? S: Cute and brown. (给板书狗的框里贴上顔色)
T: Why Peter really wants to get the puppy?(贴Why?)
S: Peter likes the puppy very much . T: Yes, because he likes it very much.(贴like板书)
How can Peter get the puppy?(贴how板书)
S: Buy it . T: Yes, Peter wants to buy the puppy. (贴want to buy 的板书)
If you want to buy something ,what should you know first? S:How much is it ?.... T: Yes, first you should know the price. How much is it? T: Let’s look at the video together.(播放图2、3的录像)
T: What does the shopkeeper mean? S:....
T:The person who owns the shop. Now look at this picture, who is he?(出示zookeeper的图片)
S: Zookeeper. T: What about this one? (goal keeper, time keeper)
T: How much is the puppy? S: 35 dollars. T: But how much does Peter have?
S: 25 dollars. T: So what’s Peter’s mood?
S: Sad.(贴板书)
T: Why? S:... T: Yes. The puppy is 35 dollars, but Peter only has 25 dollars. If you were Peter. What would you do? S:.... T: Can you read the text with your feeling , your mood? S1

T: At this time ,we are all very happy. Congratulate for Peter.

T: What’s Peter’s mood?
S: Sad. T: Yes, Peter is very sad .(贴sad 的板书)Why? S: Puppy is gone!...... T: Yes, the puppy is gone!(贴板书)But at first, Peter is happy , he takes his money and goes to the pet shop. Can you read the sentences with the happy tone? S1 S2 T: But when he knows the puppy is gone, he is very sad. Who can read and imitate? S1,S2 T: The puppy is gone! So Peter is very sad or disappointed.(贴板书)
