1. Warm-up and lead in：

(1) Good morning, boys and girls.

(2) Sing a song: Finger Family

2. Presentation:

(1) Students look at the PPT (pictures of families), ask students “Who are they?” Encourage the students to answer in English or in Chinese and know the main point of this class. (2) Analyze the picture of Bill’s family. Review the old words: father, mother, grandfather, grandmother. Ask “Who’s this man?”, “Is he Bill’s brother?” In this way, to present the new words: uncle, aunt,cousin.

(3) Look at two groups of pictures: answer the questions: Who is beautiful? Then learn the word: beautiful. In this way, to learn

the word: handsome.

(4) Let’s chant. Listen and repeat. Then chant together. (5)Let’s fill in the family tree. (6)Let’s write. Students try to write down the new words.
