1）Use the sentence structures to show the illnesses and giving suggestions 2）Enhance students’ reading abilities 3.情感目标

Suggest students keeping healthy 学情分析: 本节课话题是看病，教学重点是表示建议的情态动词

should和否定式shouldn’t的用法。有关询问和描述病情的句型What’s wrong with you?和I have a headache/…也是本单元的另一重点教学内容。

教学重难点

教学过程

Step 1: Warming up 1. Free talk T:Class is begin. S:Stand up, please. T:Good afternoon ,boys and girls.

S:Good afternoon ,teacher. T:Sit down, please. T:Today we’ll learn Unit4, first, let’s look at the learning aims:

(1). I can talk about illnesses

(2). I can use “should” and “should not” to give advice

(3). I can act the story 2. T: How many body parts can you name? 3. T: Listen, what is it?

S: brush teeth

T: We should brush our teeth in the morning and before bedtime. 4. T: Now let’s play a game “Quick respond”.

T: The rules are, say when you see the pictures, say “bomb”

when you see bomb.

Learn the phrase: take medicine 5. T: Look at this picture, Yang Ling looks ill, how do we ask Yang Ling?

S: What’s wrong with you, Yang Ling?

T: OK, let’s listen how does Yang Ling say, “I have a cold and a fever.” Now, what should she do?

S: She should have a rest at home.
