To learn how to tell opinions from facts in reading and express points of view. 3.

To develop a right attitude to commercials and be a sensible consumers.

Teaching Precedure: I. Pre-reading.

A video of an ad and ask questions.

II. While-reading

1. Skimming the whole text to get an outline of the text.

2. Passage A:Read and finish a table.

3. Passage B,C,D: Read and Finish T or F.

4. Judge whether they are opinions from facts.

5. Read Passage B, C, D and work in pairs to fill in blanks. III. Post-reading 1. Pesent the sentence structure. 2. Discussion: Are commercials good for children?

IV. Assignment: Write a composition by using the last sentence pattern shown above.
