Step 1 Lead- in and review Show the picture of Benedict Cumberbatch. Lead to his famous character-- Sherlock Holmes. Then lead to the show—Star Detective. According to the clue tree, making a review of Reading. Step 2 Listening

1. Task 1:

Read the question below. Then listen to an interview between a journalist and the police inspector in charge of the inquiry into the murders of Mr. Bahmad and Mr. Dempsey. Q: What three groups of people were important in solving the crimes?

2.Task 2 Listen again and answer the questions: 1)

What piece of evidence first linked the two murders together?
