Step1.Warming up Enjoy some pictures of animals ,and lead in the title of this class.

Step2.Presentation 1.

Pre-reading

a.show two cartoon friends’

pictures,（熊大、熊二）and guide SS to compare them. ___has a red /black nose. ___has brown/yellow hair. b.Teach new words here: body/wing/tail C.Play a game: quickly

respond.

Consolidate words about body.

Step 2 While-reading 1.watch the cartoon and match the children with their animal friends. 2.Read the text,and finish the form about the animal friends’

colour/physical features/abilities 3.Listen and read the text. 4.Retell the text according to the form on guidance learning paper.

Step3 Consolidation Ss introduce their animal friends and show to the class.
