一、Teaching material analyzing：

At home 是以物品的位置为主,并围绕厨房展开关于物品方位学习的一单元,最主要是掌握方位介词以及围绕着位置展开的对话。本课是本单元第一部分的教学，涉及单词学习及基础对话，容量大，实践性强，需要师生的密切配合，使学生在学习过程中发展综合语言运用的能力。

二、Teaching aims: 1.四会词where, in, on, under, beside 2.三会词 need, box, give, table, floor 3.四会学习交际用语 Where is it? \ Where are they? It is ... \ They are ... 三、Teaching contents: （一）认知目标：

1.在听说读练中，学会询问和表示方位的单词

where, in, on, under, beside 2.在听说训练中，学会Where is it? \ Where are they? 以及It is ... \ They are ... 等句子。

（二）功能目标：

1．在活动过程中，学会征求他人的意见,学会询问他人需要什么。

2．学会询问物品的位置并付诸于实际行动。

3．通过听说演的训练，学会用英语表达物品的位置。

（三）情感目标：

1．在交际过程中，学会与他人相处，建立友谊。

2．在交际过程中，培养学生自主学习的能力和合作的能力。

Step two: Presention and practice

1.过渡：Talk about your favorite festival. 【评析：此环节注重了以学生的兴趣为切入点设计教学活动，通过讨论你最喜欢的节日引出圣诞节，从而引出接下来的教学内容。】

2.T shows a video “Where is Santa?”
