Unit 4 He lives in a village 第一课时
教学目标:1.学习四会单词:bird, snake, potato, tomato, river, lake, village, 并用这些单词描述乡村的特色。
2.
能用where do you live? I live in a city/village.There is /are....等句型对话。
教学重点:能听懂、会写、会读、会说:bird, snake, potato, tomato, river, lake, village。
教学难点:通过学习,用这些单词描述乡村的特色。
教具准备:单词卡片

PPT 一、Leading in 1.Brainstorming: summarize the words you have learned. Animals:dog, snake, cat, bird, sheep, cow. Fruits:apple, pear, peach, banana, grapes, watermelon. Seasons:Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter 2.Part A Look and tick PPT上出示一张图片,向学生提问:
- Where is your home? - I live in a city/village. Let’s guess
T:These are my grandpa and grandma. Where is their home, can you guess?
二、新授
1.教授单词village T:Look! My grandpa and grandma live in a village. Look at the trees, the grass and the houses. This is a village. 教师板书单词village,让学生随着教师的写进行拼读。
V-i-l-l-a-g-e, vi,lla,ge. 用there be句型操练单词:There is a village. 预设评价
very good!
2.教授单词bird T: In the village, there is a tree.(教师指着树的上面)Can you guess what is in the tree? 学生进行猜测之后,教师在课件树上出示一只小鸟,教授新单词bird,并板书领读。
B-i-r-d, bir-d. 用there be句型操练该单词:There is a bird./There are two birds. 预设评价 great!

教授单词snake T:(教师指着树的下面,并模仿蛇发出的声音:嘶嘶)Can you guess what is under the tree? T: Oh, no! Look! It’s a snake.
教师板书并领读单词snake。
S-n-a-k-e,sss,na,ke. 用there be句型操练该单词:There is a snake./There are two snakes. 预设评价 good job!
4.教授单词potato和tomato T:(出示土豆和西红柿的图片)There is a farm near the village. On the farm,
there are many potatoes and tomatoes. 板书并领读单词potato和tomato,之后,在两个单词的下方分别板书potatoes和tomatoes用红色的粉笔板书es,强调其复数结尾。
P-o-t-a-t-o,po-ta-to. T-o-m-a-t-o,to-ma-to. 土豆只有一个to,西红柿有两个to。
预设评价 you are so clever! 用there be句型操练该单词:There is a potato./There are two potatoes. 用I like/love句型操练:I like tomatoes./I love potatoes. 5.教授单词lake和river T: (引导学生猜一猜)Near the village, there are two places. There is a lot of water and many fishes in them. Can you guess what they are? T&Ss: River and lake. / 河流和湖泊
T.(出示小河、湖泊的图片) Yes. There is a river and a lake near the village. 教师板书单词river和lake,并引导学生拼读记忆。
L-a-k-e,la-ke. R-i-v-e-r,ri-ver. 用there be句型操练该单词:There is a river./There are two lakes. 预设评价 wonderful!
用游戏环节来操练单词和句型:
全班同学分成两组,男生一组,女生一组。
1.
Louder or lower(key sentences) 教师声音大,学生声音就小;教师声音小,学生声音就大。
2.
Boom-game(words)
每个单词读一遍,有炸弹的单词不读。
四、作业布置:
1.
Draw a picture about your home and introduce your home to your classmates.

g:This is my home, I live in a city/village, there are many flowers and trees. There are also many birds in the trees. Look! There is a big dog/small cat/long snake. I love my home!
五、Homework Read these new words and copy each new word four times.
