Difficult point: Master the words : season ,spring ,summer ,autumn and winter . Ⅳ. Teaching Aids: Wordcards ,pictures, multimedia ,PPT. Ⅴ. Teaching procedures: Step One:Warm-up 1.

Sing the song 《What’s your favourite season?》

Review some words. Step Two:Presentation. 1.

Teach “season”.

I Show Ss the pictures of four seasons and say: There are four seasons in a year .I show Ss the word card and teach the word .Pay attention to the pronunciation of the combined letters“ea”. 2.

Teach “spring”. I show Ss the pictures of spring ,then teach it. What’s the weather like in spring? Which season do you like best? Spring. 3. Teach “summer”. I show Ss the pictures of summer , then teach it. 4. Use the similar way to teach “autumn”

and “winter”. autumn(同义词) fall Which season do you like best? What’s your favourite season? 5. What’s missing ? 6.Show Ss the pictures, Ss say the seasons. 7.Teach: Let’s learn. The first time please listen to the tape carefully and answer my question. The second time please read after the tape. Step Three:Practice 1.Chain game. 2.Make a survey.
