（一）教学内容分析

本课选自冀教版小学英语六年级上册第四单元第一课。本单元的总体目标是Li Ming、Danny、Jenny以及Jenny的家人一起过圣诞节。本单元旨在给学生介绍与西方文化中非常重要的组成部分—加拿大的圣诞节及其传统相关的基本词汇和表达方式。本课介绍了西方国家一个十分重要的节日--- 圣诞节，概括的介绍了圣诞节，如彩灯、圣诞老人、圣诞树以及西方国家如何过圣诞节的内容，为学生深入学习圣诞节奠定了基础。通过了解圣诞节的起源、传统、习俗、培养孩子们的跨文化意识，使他们在轻松、愉快的氛围中达到语言学习目的。

（二）教学对象分析

六年级的学生已经有了一定的听说读写基础，能借助图片读懂语篇，能用简单的语句描述事件、表达情感并进行语言交流。圣诞节也是他们感兴趣的话题，结合生活实际对春节和其他节日的了解，他们愿意和他人交流分享，并乐于融入到圣诞节的学习中来。

二、教学目标：

1、学生能听懂、会说、认读和拼写下列词汇： holiday ,bring, give，song 2．学生能认读、理解和运用下列句子： Christmas is a Western holiday. They bring gifts for us. We sing Christmas songs.

4．学习策略目标：

积极与同学合作，共同完成任务；

课上课下积极用英语和他人交流；

让学生结合生活实际，积极思考，提出问题，发散学生思维。

提出开放性的问题，多让学生表达自己的观点，提升学生的思维品质，培养学生的核心素养。

三、教学重难点：

重点：学生能听懂、会说、认读和拼写下列词汇： holiday ,bring, give，song学生能认读、理解和运用下列句子： Christmas is a Western holiday. They bring gifts for us. We sing Christmas songs.

难点：学生能准确描述圣诞节并能和他人交流。

(一）

Free talk T: What day is it? S: It’s Wednesday, Dec.5. T: How’s the weather today? S: It’s sunny. T: What season is it? S: It’s winter. T: What holidays do you know in winter? S: …… T: What do you do for the Spring Festival? S:……

T: The Spring Festival is a Chinese holiday.

（二）New Concepts 1. Christmas T: Look at the picture. What is it? It is Christmas. (设计意图：通过上课伊始的自由谈话，从我们身边熟悉的春节为话题自然导入到圣诞节的学习中来，为进一步的学习圣诞节做好铺垫，过渡自然。)

2. What do you want to know about Christmas? S: …… What is Christmas？ When is Christmas？What do you have at Christmas？What do you do at Christmas？ Who is Santa? ……

(设计意图：从学生的思维角度出发，结合已有的知识经验和生活阅历，你想要了解圣诞节的哪些知识？自主开放性问题的提出，让学生开动脑筋，发散思维，积极展示自己的观点，让他们发现问题，并有解决问题的欲望，提升学生的思维品质。)

3. Read part one quickly and quietly answer the questions. (1)What is Christmas？ It’s a Western holiday.让几位同学说说答案，教师讲解Western 的读音

，反复练读holiday。并板书。

(2)教师适时提问：On this holiday, do people go to work? Do children go to school? (3)Read paragraph one together.师生共同解决问题后，朗读第一段。

(4)When is Christmas？It’s Dec. 25. 学生回答几轮之后，教师渗透阅读策略Where can you find the answer? (5)Christmas is Dec. 25. Today is Dec.5. So I say “Christmas is coming!”

点明主题，引导学生理解句子含义，圣诞节要到来了。

4. Read part one quietly again and answer the questions. (1)What do you have at Christmas？We have Christmas trees, lights, Santa（2）在学生理解句子的基础上讲解单词，Christmas tree， What do you want to say about this Christmas tree? 让学生看着圣诞树表达自己的观点。

“It’s so beautiful.”……

（3）Lights，Where are the lights? They are on the house. （4）Who is Santa? Is he happy? What colour are his clothes? He is a merry man in red clothes. Do children like Santa? Why? 先让学生说说自己的看法，再公布答案：Children say he brings gifts on Christmas. 5．Look and say. (1)Look and say the four pictures. 教师提问，让学生先看图，整体感知。

（2）逐个读图，让学生预测圣诞节做的事情，用自己的话先说一说。 Picture1: What do they do? Picture2: Who do they invite? How do they feel? What are these? Gifts. They bring gifts for us. 练读bring 教师做动作做示范演示bring帮助学生理解，并让学生尝试着造句。

Picture3: What do they do? They give gifts. 练读give ，对比live记忆。

让学生尝试着用give造句。You give your family and friends gifts. Because you love your family and friends.(情感教育渗透) Picture4: What do they do? They sing Christmas songs. （3）Look and say together: Picture1,2,3,4 .

What do you do at Christmas？We invite our family and friends to our house. They bring gifts for us. We give our family and friends gifts too. We sing Christmas songs.

(设计意图：学生自主提问，并通过一次阅读—“速读默读”的形式让学生在文本中找到两个简单问句的答案；二次默读细读文本解决两个大问题的答案。问题设计时有梯度，由易到难，学生通过深入理解文本自己解决了本课的难点。培养他们的自主学习能力,并引导学生进行“为何”问题的回答，培养学生的发散性思维。在处理圣诞节做的事情的语篇时采用整体-部分-整体的形式让学生整体感知，再逐图预测，最后再整体汇总小结，符合阅读教学的思路，学生对文本的理解更加深入，为下一个环节描述圣诞节做好铺垫。) 6.What else do you do at Christmas? ……

(设计意图：学生已经掌握了圣诞节知识，结合生活经验让他们思考“圣诞节还可以做哪些事情？”开放性的问题让学生的思路打开，深入思考并有序表达。培养学生的发散性思维。) （三） Exercise Talk about Christmas in groups. Tips:（选择自己喜欢的形式进行汇报、交流。）

1. 可以已小组为单位描述圣诞节，每人一两句。也可以采用对话的形式进行问答交流。

2. 自己复述圣诞节。
