The snowman Step 1: Greeting T: Good morning students S: Good morning teacher T: How are you? S: I’m fine thank you .and you? T: I’m fine too. Sit down please. Step 2: Review
T: How many seasons in a year? S: There are four seasons in a year. T: What are they? T:(展示幻灯片),“what season is it?”
S: It’s……
T: (出示四季的单词卡片),read it follow the teacher. Step 3: play a game T: How’s the weather today? S: Today is a……day. T: It’s cold or hot? S: It’s cold. T: Right. The weather is cold, because winter is coming.I have some pictures. It has “hat, scarf, boots, jacket and mittens.”(出示教具). Now answer my question “what do you wear in winter?”
S: I wear…..hat (give the student a hat picture )
T: Who can ask? (再由学生提问,由师生互动变生生互动) Step 4: Answer the question T: What do you like in winter? S: I like to….. Step 5: story T: In winter, we can skate on the ice. We can ski on the snow. We can play the snowballs. We can make the snowman. Right ? (展示幻灯片) S: Yes. T: I know a boy, his name is John. He likes winter, because he can make the snowman. (Take out the question paper, listen to the story and answer the question)
T: Now, let’s retail the story together. ( 用幻灯片出示图片,讲述故事) Step 6: Answer the story’s questions Find the students answer the questions, and use the ppt. show the right answers. Step 7: Make the snowman T: Do you like the snowman? S: Yes! T: I like too. Do you want to make a snowman? S: Yes! T: I can teach you.(用幻灯片展示制作雪人的过程)
At last everyone make the snowman together. Step 8: Homework
Give the story a perfect ending. 重点难点:
1:生词,并了解生词的词义和读音
2:找出故事的主线,中心意思,并能简单的列出堆雪人的步骤。
3:简单的复述小故事,初步了解讲故事的方法。
学情分析:
小学六年级的学生已经有了一定的英语水平,但考虑到学生之间的水平差异,问题的设计选择的比较简单易懂,尽量照顾到所有学生,特别是学困生,以便学生能了解整片故事。

教学目标:
1:通过对故事的学习,让学生了解故事内容,掌握故事中的生词,并能简单的复述这篇故事。
2:通过这篇故事来复习本单元“冬天的乐趣”的重点知识,比如单词、句型。
3:通过这篇故事来激发学生实践,让没有堆过雪人的学生去实践,也能勾起有经验学生的回忆。
