通过学习本课故事，激发学生已有生活体验，培养学生对大自然和生活的热爱。

1、读懂故事，掌握故事情节。

2、在图片和关键词的帮助下复述故事。

教学过程

Step 1: Greeting and Warming- up T: Hello, boys and girls! How are you? I’m very well. Thank you! 1

T: What’s this?

T: Yes, it’s a snowman. Do you like the snowman? Today we are going to learn a story. It’s about a snowman and a boy. Step 2: Story Time 1. Talk about the pictures

a. T: I’ll show the pictures one by one. Please talk about it.

Look! This is the boy! What is he doing? What is he wearing?

Yes. He is wearing a hat, mittens, a scarf and winter boots. Winter is so cold. Please get warm.

b. T：Next picture, talk about it please. How does he feel?

T: Maybe. Or maybe not. I think he feels cold. Because he put his hands over his ears. Oh, where is his hat?

... Good, you find it. It’s on the snowman’s head.

T: Please read picture 3 to 5 loudly. And find the answers. Now let’s look at the questions.

Q1: Did the snowman have feet?

T&Ss: No feet.

Q2: When could the snowman skate?

Ss: When John put the skates under the snowman. The snowman could talk. (板书

put the skates under the snowman在图3下; could talk在图4下）

T: I think John is a good boy. He gives his hat and skates to the snowman. And he plays with him. They are happily.

Q3：Why was the snowman sad?

T&Ss: Because the spring is coming. It’s too warm. There is no snow, no ice and no snowman. The snowman will be disappeared.

So he was sad. （板书too warm, no snow, no ice在图5下）

T: What should we do? The snowman will say good-bye to us. ( 指向最后一幅图画）

Did John help him? How did he do?

T&ss: He put the snowman in the fridge. He did a good job. 6

课后反思：

本节课基本上完成了教学目标中提到的要求，课堂气氛融洽。本课主要实现两个目标：知识与技能目标（复习单元所学词汇、句型）和情感目标（通过各种活动帮助学生理解故事，激发学生学习兴趣并产生对自然和生活的热爱之情。）因此在活动设计上，紧紧未然目标展开，突出教学重难点。

在本节课中有两点不满意的地方：1. 课堂把控时间有些不准，在retell、fill in the blanks环节时间有点儿紧迫，在四十分钟的课堂上有待改进。2.在语音语调方面，本课没有设计锻炼的环节，需要改进。
