Warm up T: Now today we will come to animals’ family. This is a story. Do you

like story? Ss: Yes, I do. T: Look! There are four friends here. Who are they?

Ss: “A dog”. It is brown. The dog is very lovely.

“A cat”. It is fat. It has big eyes and ears. T: It is white. It can swim. It has a big mouth. Guess it. Ss: “A goose”. T: It is long. It has no legs and feet. We are afraid of it. What is it?

Ss: “A snake”. Step 2

New lesson T:

Please look. Today we have another friends. It is a tadpole. What does it look like? Ss: It is black. It has a round head and a tail. It can swim. T: There are many tadpoles in the pond. They meet our four friends.

What will happen between them? T: Now let’s listen to the story and answer questions.

Q: “What are they doing?”

“Have they seen their mother?”

“How do you know they are looking for their mother? Which

sentence?”

Ss: They want to find their mother. “Where is our mother?”

T: Who can read it?(Read this sentence and recite it) Ss: eg: Team 1: Where is our mother?

T: First, the tadpoles meet a dog. Let’s listen.

Students can understand the story and use function sentence to describe them. Also, they can read it skillfully. Meanwhile, the pronunciation of students cannot be accurate, so it should be paid attention to in the process of teaching.
