1.Jenny’s New Skirt

Jenny’s意为“詹妮的”,表示有生命的名词后面加’s,叫作名词所有格,意为“……的”。

my skirt意为“我的短裙”,skirt是可数名词单数作主语,所以用is。

3.What colour do you want?

What colour意为“什么颜色”,属于特殊疑问词组,它引导的句子叫特殊疑问句。

—What colour is your sweater? 你的毛衣是什么颜色的? —It’s blue.它是蓝色的。

4.I like its colour.

【辨析】

its和it’s

its意为“它的”,属于形容词性物主代词,后接名词。it’s=it is意为“它是”。
