Step 1

Lead – in Let the students use the following words to describe Canada and the U.S. Step 2 Presentation. Activity : 1 Before the class, divide the students into groups. One group is made up of four students. 2 Show the new words that include spelling, Chinese and phonetic symbols to the student. Ask the students try to pronounce them by themselves in groups. One of the group says Chinese, and the second of the group tries pronouncing a new words. The third of the group tries it again. The fourth judges right or wrong. 3 Let the students spend several minutes practice spelling and pronouncing the new words, and then cover the spelling of the new words and ask the students to spell the words in group.
