一．

教学目标

（一）

语言知识目标：

1. 语法目标：be like/ What does…look like?的问句及答句、第三人称单数动词在陈述句中的运用、her和him作为宾格的用法

2．词汇：smart , rich, handsome 3. 交际用语：What does…look like? He/She looks like…、Which…? （二）语言技能目标：

1．能熟练地用英语进行对人外表特点的描述，并根据描述画出人像。

2．能概括人物的外貌特征并根据人物特征推理出某一人物。

3．能替别人进行新形象设计，能和合作伙伴互相交流，充分交换信息。

4．能掌握本单元出现的表示人外观的词组及句型，并能结合实际生活进行灵活运用，用这些词组及句型描述别人的外表，提高写作水平。

（三）情感态度目标：

1．通过描述自己、同学、亲人、偶像的外貌，简单地表达自己的观点或好恶，学会交换不同的看法，使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人。

2．教育学生要多发现别人的优点，学会赞美别人，友好地描述别人的形象。

3．学会赏识，懂得心灵美比外表美更重要。

4．能在小组活动中积极与他人合作，相互帮助，共同完成学习任务, 尽情享受学习的乐趣。

（四）文化意识目标：

了解不同人的外貌和同一人的不同外貌，了解在中西方文化中表达自己的观点时存在的差异，我们比较委婉，而西方人则比较直接些，对学生进行不同文化意识的渗透。同时让学生在给自己或别人画像时提高绘画水平和审美意识；让学生了解不同外貌作用的背景知识，实现跨学科交流的目的。

二、教学重难点：

通过学习语言材料，让学生获得运用所学的有关词汇、短语及句型，描述人的外貌特征，并能结合实际生活进行灵活运用的能力。

三、教学设计：

Step I. Warming-up: （预备铃一响，科代表带领全班分角色背诵U1、U2课文）

1. Free talk: Say ‘Hello’ to each other. (What day is it today? What’s the date today? 然后在黑板写) 2. First. Let’s chant together. Ready? Go! 3. What are the key sentences in Module 1? 4. Excellent! Look at the TV.

(1)Show PPT(林志颖) Q1: Look at the man. He’s Jimmy. He’s very handsome. (示单词). He looks young. What is he like? (He’s very kind. He’s has small eyes.)

(2)Show PPT(张亮) Q2: What about this man? His name is Zhang Liang. He is a model. He’s very

tall. What is he like? (He’s very friendly. He’s has small eyes and a big nose.)

(3)Show PPT（比尔.盖茨) And this man is Bill Gates. He’s very smart (示单词). He has lots of money. So he is rich. (示单词) (4)Show PPT（三个人) Q3: Which is handsome?（the most handsome）

5. Let’s play a guessing game. Use the sentence:Who’s the man/ lady with/in…? Tips: Our school’s teacher.

Step II. Presentation:

1. This is my best friend.(贴图在黑板上) His name is Cop-Cop. He has three big eyes, a long neck and long arms. (边读句子边指向图的对应部位) 2.(引入课文) Aki takes Ben and Jiamin to visit Ding Dong. They will meet Cop-Cop. What will happen? Look at these questions first. Read them together: a. What colour is the grass?

b. What’s Cop-Cop’s job? c. What’s Ding-Dacula like? 3.(看金太阳)，Let’s check the answer.

（再次展示问题的ppt）a. It’s blue.

b. He’s a policeman.

c. He has long brown hair and big teeth.

4. Listen and repeat.

5. Read in group.（小组分角色读）

6. Act out the story.(一组里面的两个学生负责拉块布做背景，剩下的四个同学拿着角色的标志扮演story里的四个人物，不会背的同学允许拿书读)

Step III. Consolidation

Look at this picture.(PPT)( The teacher gives the Ps an example with a picture of Anna. ) The girl’s name is Anna. She is six years old. She has long hair and a round face. Her eyes are small. And she has a small nose and a small mouth. She is short and thin. We all love her, because she is very kind and lovely. Do you know who is she? 2. Read it and tell True or False(PPT出示练习)

Step IV. Development: 1.根据老师的范文去进行仿写，（Now let’s do some written exercises.）Draw a picture of a person you like and describe him or her. Can you do this? Let’s write together. (播放音乐：一分30秒的时间画，两分30秒的时间写，) 1.

生生互评，最后老师评I think group___ is the best.

Step V. Sum up Let’s Sum up, the key sentences(找学生读句子)，Who can tell me? And what adj. words we learned?

Step VI. Homework: 1. Remember all of the new words.
