2. 通过小组活动和习题操练感知并总结一般过去式的定义及句型结构、用法

3. 通过Around the world的学习了解南非英雄曼德拉

4. 通过本单元的学习，进一步学会如何介绍自己与他人的过去生活

二、教学重点和难点

教学难点：如何灵活运用一般过去时准确介绍自己与他人的过去生活

三、教学过程: 1. Warming-up & revision: (1）Look at two pictures of Betty & Tony to review some key sentences learned in the last two units: Eg:Who is she?

Who is he? --She is Betty.

--He is Tony. Where was she born?

Who was his first teacher?

--She was born in Quincy.

--His first teacher was Mrs Lane. Was she bored in Quincy?

Was he difficult in class?

--No. She wasn't bored in Quincy.

--No, he wasn't. He was good in class. 2.
