教材及学情分析

牛津英语3A M4U2这一单元是以农场上的动物为主题的教学。本单元的主题是On the farm，通过阿里巴巴农场上的超级动物们的学习，学生能用简单话来描述这些动物，并通过小组学习激发学生学习的兴趣和提高口头表达能力和阅读能力。

在这一单元前学生已掌握了一些动物的单词，如：chick，duck，cow，pig，sheep，hen，lamb，cat等，学习了分辨动物的叫声以及从颜色、形态方面描述自己喜欢的动物，同时也具备了简单的阅读和听说能力。

这些动物的单数形式，同学们都以很熟悉。针对这样的情况，第一课时中以on the farm为话题展开核心单词和句型的学习，为第二课时的表演进行好铺垫。
