it’s 1：05 in the afternoon. We are having an English lesson. Let’s imagine! It’s eight o’clock in the morning. What are you doing?

It’s three o’clock in the afternoon. What are you doing?

It’s seven o’clock in the evening. Can you guess what I am doing? You can use: Are you …ing…?

S: Are you…ing…? T: Maybe you are right. Look, I’m having dinner. What about Liu Tao’s family? S: They are having dinner. T:Yes. Can you guess what they are eating for dinner? You can use “Are they eating…?”

S:Mrs Liu is cooking some tomato soup. T: Yes. How do you know that? S: Mrs Liu is washing some vegetables. She wants to cook some tomato soup.(贴图板书) T: Yes . What is she doing now? S: She is washing some vegetables. (板书) T: Good job. What else are they cooking? S: Mr Liu is cooking meat with potatoes.

T: Yes. How do you know that? S: Mr Liu says: I’m cooking meat with potatoes.

T: Great. Look at the food. Do you know how to cook them? To cook the tomato soup , we can use some tomatoes and vegetables. (板书tomatoes, vegetables) T: Can you name more vegetables? (课外拓展：broccoli/ carrots/ onions/peppers…)
