Teaching procedures 教学过程

Step 1 Greeting & Warm-up T: First, show the students the picture and ask what’s the matter? (teach headache) T: The sentence “What’s the matter?” we also can say “What’s wrong with you?” (read the sentence ) Ｗhat does “wrong” mean ? Choose A or B? T: ( show the picture) What’s wrong with you? S: I have a toothache. oo /u:/ th T: Now we know the sentences, let’s look and guess. What’s wrong with him/her? He / She has a…(work in pairs) T: If there is something wrong with our body. We should go to the hospital and see the doctor. Today we will learn Unit4 Seeing the doctor. T: Look at the picture and can you ask some questions? For example: who are they? Students ask the questions. Step 2 Presentation T: What’s wrong with SuHai? Let’s watch and choose. S: She has a headache and a fever. How do you know? Where are sentences?

T: SuHai has a headache and a fever. Let’s read in details. How does Suhai feel? (teach the word “feel feet teeth sweet” and so on and teach the word “check”) The doctor checks and what should Suhai do? Let’s read. Open your books turn to P36 and read the first part. Sthdents read and find out the sentences then check. (teach the word “should”) Show the tip. T: First, let’s read part one together. Let’s read in roles. Boys the doctor girls Suhai. T: Can you finish the medical record. Can you try to say? T: Show the picture of Mike. What’s wrong with Mike? Who does Mike go to see? (show the sentences) Let’s listen and complete. T: What’s wrong with Mike? S: He has a toothache. T: And? S: And he can’t eat anything. T: Why does Mike have a toothache? S: Because he eats too many sweets. T: Should he eat too many sweets? S: No. ( show the phrase shouldn’t eat too many sweets and read ) T: Mike shouldn’t eat too many sweets so what should Mike do? Let’s read the second part and find out the answer. S: He should brush his teeth in the morning and before bedtime. T: Here is the sentence. ( show the students the sentence and read ) Can you try to do?
