一、教学目标

a. To learn the dialogue. b To write the new words and phrases.

go on a trip, go to a summer camp, have summer holidays c. To learn to say the patterns.

Summer is the second season .

What do students do on summer holidays? 2.Ability:

(1) Read the sentences fluently and correctly.

(2) To ask and answer. 3.Emotion：培养学生热爱春天的美好情操; 适当利用所学词组，引导学生树立目标，并能主动说出努力的方向和方法。

二、教学重点

1. To know something about summer. 2. To ask and answer questions about spring. 3. To say something about summer and learn to use the phrase in this lesson. 三、教学难点

1.To use the words and patterns correctly. 2.To make up a new dialogue and act it out. 3 To ask and answer using the new phases 四、教学过程 (一)激趣导入，感受新知. 1. To read the questions and try to answer.

The last question is: When do you have summer holidays? 2.Look at the pictures. Guess which one is the picture of summer. (二)创设情境，探索新知

1. Which season is summer? Let’s see it together.

2.What is summer like? Let’s talk about summer.

Key words: begin, weather, close, rain, hot

1) Learn the word: hot— hotter --- hottest T: How is the weather in summer? S: It’s very hot in summer.

Learn to say: Summer is the hottest season of the year. = Summer is hotter than any other season of the year. 2) rain, rainy rain n. There is often a lot of _________(rain). Sometimes there’s heavy_________(rain). rainy

T: Who do children go on a trip with? S: They go on trips with their parents.

S: I usually go to the beach…
