Unit4 Seeing the doctor

1教学目标

Knowledge aims:1、enable ss to understand the whole story。 2、enable the ss to listen,read and write the following words: check,dentist,anything, bedroom, brush one's teeth, drink water, eat sweets, have a rest, take medicine, fever, headache, toothache.

Ability aims: 1、to make the ss have the ability to read the whole story. 2、to make the ss to use the sentences in real situation: what's wrong with..? ...have/has... What should...do? Why does/do...have a...?

Moral aims: enable ss to give some suggestions for the sick people.

2学情分析 五年级的学生对于疾病的单词在四年级已经学过如:cold cough headache fever,大部分学生已经能掌握句型:what’s the matter?学生有一定的学习基础,因此本单元对于学生来说比较容易理解。

3重点难点 1、how to use the sentences in real situation: what's wrong with..? ...have/has... What should...do? Why does/do...have a...?

2、how to give suggestions for the sick people.

活动1【导入】pre－reading

Free talk

T: Nice to meet you. How are you?

T: Let’s enjoy a song and ask ss Do you

Like the song？Are you happy but I am not happy .Because I am ill

Ss answer two questions: What’s wrong with you?

引题:Unit4 Seeing the doctor

活动2【导入】while－reading

1、Today I have to see the doctor because I feel bad.

Learn the words: feel

T: What’s wrong with me? You can say< What’s wrong with you?>

Read and learn: What’s wrong with you?

T: I have a toothache.

Learn the words: toothache tooth+ache

Read these words by Ss: headache, backache, earache

2、T: Su Hai and Mike feel bad too. They are not at school what are they doing? Please watch and choose.

3、Let’s learn the first part. Please listen and fill in the blanks.

Su Hai has a ____ and _____. She feels ______.

So she goes to see the doctor. Read and find out the doctor’s suggestions

What should she do?

Learn the phrases: take some medicine, have a rest, drink some warm water

5、Think and write (finish the exercise on P38)
