Step 1. Greetings T: Class begins. Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: ... Step 2. Pre-reading 1.Let’s enjoy T: Boys and girls, we all like music. First let’s enjoy a song 《The months of the year song》.

T: Great! You sing very well. 2.Let’s learn There are twelve months in a year. Can you say them? Which month can you say? Here are the rest ones. Let’s learn to say. Please listen and repeat.

3.Let’s talk T:You did a good job. Among these months, I like January and February best because the Spring Festival is in January or February. I eat nice food and wear new clothes. We have known something about these festivals. 3.Let’s discuss T: Do you want to know more about these festivals? If we want to know more about these festivals, what questions can we ask? Please discuss and ask. T: Look, here’s a book. We can get more information from it. As we all know, the Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. We also call it Chinese New Year. Do you know when it is? Here’s a tip for you. T: What do people do at this festival? And what do people eat ? 4.Think and say. T: We have known some details about the Spring Festival , now look at the mind map, can you think and say? 5.Let’s watch T: Wonderful! Let’s watch a cartoon. Look, what are they doing?
