教材分析：本节课学习的是新标准英语（一年级起点）五年级上册第三模块第二单元的内容，这是一篇涉及西方节日的课文，以了解有关复活节的内容为主，学习用简单的英语介绍复活节的庆祝方式，同时对比中西方节日，感受中西文化的差异，进而体会跨文化背景下学习语言的乐趣。在第一单元的中，学生已经学习了Halloween这一西方传统节日，有了这一铺垫，学生在学习复活节时就有了思考的方向。所以在这节课的教学中，在学习复活节的基础上，如何了解和表达更多中西方节日成了教学的核心内容。

学情分析：新课标要求现阶段的学生达到语言技能二级目标.：即对英语学习有持续的兴趣和爱好，能在图片的帮助下听懂、读懂并讲述简单的故事。在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主动请教。根据新课程标准，通过前四年多的英语学习，五年级学生有了一定的英语基础和自学能力，大部分学生对英语有着浓厚的兴趣，在教学中，应继续面向全体学生，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，充分调动他们的自主能动性、积极性，并发挥团队协作精神，营造互帮互学、共同学习英语的语境。课堂上的进一步学习打下了良好的基础。

教学目标：

1.语言能力：能用英语介绍复活节及其他中西方节日。

2.思维品质：激发学生学习英语的兴趣，调动学习积极性，学习在表达有关节日话题时需要遵循的表达方式，如

什么时间、人们都干什么，引导学生积极与他人合作，做到互学互长。

3文化品格：在学习西方节日的同时，不忘弘扬中国传统文化，将中西方节日做对比，培养学生的爱国情怀。

这堂课是一堂发散思维的听说和阅读相结合课。课始于Halloween，发散于Easter，结于Festivals。我充分利用了思维导图，让学生围绕着主题听说，又通过课文的阅读，在阅读技巧的指导下，完成Easter的学习。通过这一课的学习，学生基本掌握了阅读技巧，在思维导图的帮助下，了解从哪些方面来描述节日和如何用英语表达中西方节日，培养了学生的英语思维和口语表达。
