Teaching subject: Unit 4 When is Easter? A Let's learn& Ask and answer Teaching time:2018.4.20

Teaching aims: 1.Be able to listen speak and read the words: first second third fourth fifth and be able to write the ordinal Number to abbreviate the words.

2.Be able to listen speak and read the sentences “ When is ...?”“It is on...” to ask the date of somebody's activities.

3.Be able to improve language skill and language organization ability. Teaching objects: cards PPT somethings

Teaching Steps:

StepI:Warming up

1.Greeting each other.

2.Game: Sharp eyes to revise the words about month.

StepII:Presentation

1.T shows a puzzle:It's in April. You can joke(开玩笑)on other people. (打一节日)to lead the new word: first.

2.T leads Ss to find the same letter “ir”in the words and the pronunciation of “ir”in the

Words . Lead to new word: third.

3.T shows the pictures of holidays and practise the new words using the sentences: “When is...? It's on...”

4.T shows the pictures of Zhang Peng Sarah and Chen Jie.

Zhang Peng: We have a maths test. I am the first.

Sarah: I get 98.I am the third.

Chen Jie: I get 99.I am the second.

Ss learn to say the new word: secod and S s look at the date then say out April 2nd.

5.Ss look at the pictures of date and learn the new words: fourth fifth.

6.Ss look at the picture of Let's learn and use “When is ...? It's on..”to ask and answer.

7.Listen and read the Let's learn

StepIII:Consolidation and Extension

1.In English to say out the date.

2.To lead Ss to know the number ordinal number and the abbreviate.

3.Read and fill in the blank.

4.To say out the date and activities.

5.Group work to ask and answer using “ When is...? Its on..”

StepIV: Homework.

1.Read and listen P39 twice.

2.Copy the words five times.

3.To write two sentences according Ask and answer.
