三、教学过程

StepⅠ.Warming up & Lead in ⒈

Greeting ⒉

Free talk T: How is the weather today? What season is it now? Ss: Spring. T: Right. It’s spring.

⒊Lead in: Watch a video

Spring is a colorful season, but the weather is changeable. It’s often hot in the day and cold in the evening. If people didn’t wear enough clothes, they would get sick. Oh, look. He has a headache. She has a fever. And he has a cold. If you are ill, you should go to see a Doctor. So today we are going to learn Unit 3 Seeing a Doctor Part A.(板书) StepⅡ. Presentation ⒈Learn the new sentence and the new words: What’s wrong with you? headache, fever, ill, have a cold ⑴Look and say T: There is a boy, Ben. He is not well, too. What’s wrong with Ben? Please turn to page 16, read and underline the answers.

⑵Learn the words: headache, toothache, fever, ill ①Watch and check the answers. T: Are you OK? Now let’s listen , then check the answers.

What’s wrong with Ben? ②Learn the words : ‘headache’. T: Does he have a toothache? Ss: No.

T: Does he have a headache? Ss: Yes. T: Wonderful, He has a headache. Now, let have a look. ③Do you know? (通过学习单词headache来了解复合词的构成,然后出示图片,让学生试读复合词:toothache, earache) T: Can you read these words?

④Learn the word: ‘ill’. T: We know Ben has a headache. He is ill. ⑤Watch again and learn the words ‘fever’

and ‘have a cold’. T: Is he hot? S3: Yes. He is very hot. T: Clever!

He is very hot. Maybe he has a fever. And maybe he has a cold. ⑥

Perform: What’s wrong with you? I have a …. T: Look, there are some illnesses. Can you act them out? 2.Learn the text ⑴Listen and answer T: You are good actors. You are well, but Ben isn’t. He has a headache. He needs some help. Now let’s listen again, then answer 2 questions:

What will Sally do ? What will mom do? ⑵

Check the answers S1: She will go and tell mom. T: Great. Sally found that Ben was very hot, but she didn’t know what to do. So she asked for her mother’s help. When you are in trouble, you can ask for help. T: And what will mom do? Ss: She will take Ben to hospital. T: Right. She is worried about her son, so she will take Ben to hospital. ⒊

Listen and follow T: Now let’s listen and follow

StepⅢ.Consolidation and Extension ⒈Role play T: A few minutes later, Ben and his mom got to the hospital. Now, let’s have a look. And try to act this dialogue out. D: Hello! What’s your name?

B: My name is

. B: I know. Thank you. D: You’re welcome.

⒉Extension T: From the dialogue, we know that mom and Sally love Ben very much. In our life, if someone needs your help. What will you do for them? Look, there are some pictures. They need your help. Can you help them? Choose one picture and make a dialogue. StepⅣ.Summary T: Excellent. Today you can use the sentence ‘what’s wrong with you ?’ to share your love and care for each other. You are so nice . You know we will face kinds of difficulties, so we can share our love with people, and try to help others in time.
