核心素养是学生在接受相应学段教育的过程中，逐步形成的适应个人终身发展和社会发展需要的必备品格和关键能力。英语学科的核心素养由四个要素组成，即语言能力，学习能力，文化品格和思维品质。

《英语课程标准》指出英语课程既是学生通过英语学习和英语实践活动，逐步掌握英语知识的技能，提高英语实际运用能力的过程，又是他们拓展视野、丰富生活经历、促进思维发展、锻炼意志、陶冶情操、发展个性和提高综合人文素养的过程。

基于以上指导思想和理论依据，本节课教师通过问题引领、情景交流等环节引导学生深入探讨世界地球日和保护环境的措施，并拓展了有关保护地球的特殊节日，学生联系自己的生活实际进行小组讨论，加深对不同的节日的理解。同时，学生在学习对话的过程中逐步形成语言结构，学习如何介绍一个保护地球的节日，不仅能够引发学生对于环境问题的思考，还能提升学生的环保意识。

教学背景分析

教学内容：

本单元是围绕环保话题展开的。以4月22日的World Earth Day为切入点，引导学生了解保护环境的具体途径和方法，利于帮助学生养成良好的节能生活习惯。本课时为本单元第一课时，情景为Guoguo和她的爸爸妈妈观看有关世界地球日的展板，他们以这个为话题在进行讨论。他们讨论了世界地球日的日期和为什么要设立这样一个日子。三个人还一起探讨自己能为保护环境做些什么。

本课的话题是保护环境，主要使用的语言形式为祈使句，这一部分内容学生在四年级学习signs话题的时候就学习过，理解起来困难不大。本课中出现了stop doing这一表达法，教师需要引导学生注意动词的名词性变化。本课时的听力环节提供了与环保主题相关的节日及其活动内容。实践活动部分也呈现了环保主题的特殊节日和日期。学生结合所学语言进行语言输出，从而达到在实际生活场景中正确使用语言的目的。通过语言学习，学生可以向身边的人宣传环保理念，为保护环境做出自己的贡献，培养学生的社会责任感。

1. 原有认知：学生五年级时接触过环保话题，已经初步了解相关话题的语言，有环保生活经验，但是在表达环保的行为和活动时有困难。同时，学生对关于保护地球的相关节日了解较少。所以在本课我设计了讨论节日和环保行动的活动，拓宽学生视野，联系生活实际。

2. 本班学生特点：本班学生为六年级4班的学生，学生思维活跃，乐于表达，但是两极分化严重，所以在本课我多采用pair work和group work的形式，引导学生互助学习，共同进步。

教学方式：

本课通过提问、预测、听力、朗读、情景交流和小组合作探究等一系列语言实践活动引导学生发现和归纳语言规律，内化语言知识，最终实现在真实情景中运用语言交流。

教学手段：

多媒体视频、音频播放，PowerPoint演示文稿展示图片和语言支持

【设计意图】课文新授部分，借助Guoguo提出的三个问题贯穿始终，学生通过看视频和自主阅读提取问题答案的正确信息，针对每一个问题答案进行深入讨论，学生能够根据自身实际生活经验，深入理解对话内容。

【设计意图】本环节首先从学生的原有认知出发，让学生试着说出一些跟保护地球相关的节日，然后再出示教材中的节日，并基于教材P19页的听力练习进行了改编，涉及了6个节日和相对应的日期，学生通过听力训练匹配节日和对应的日期。

评价方式: 1. 教师在课堂教学过程中对学生表现的评价：教师根据学生的现场反馈进行及时评价，如口头激励Good guessing, bingo等方式激励和评价学生。

2. 朗读环节学生小组评价表根据进行生生评价，激发学生进一步参与。

3. 学生通过两两合作、小组讨论完成相应任务，并进行组间评价、集体评价。

1. 学以致用，提高学生语言能力和学习能力。本课的话题是环保，但是学生交流语言受局限，所以在课文学习过程中学生通过情境自然习得语言，在拓展环节，学生联系本课所学和环保生活经验在情境中进行交流讨论，达到学以致用，同时学生通过本节课学习如何介绍环保相关节日。

2. 话题引导，提升学生文化品格。本课围绕保护地球这一核心话题展开教学，基于环保话题通过讨论地球的现状、为什么要保护地球和怎么保护地球深入培养学生的环保意识。课堂通过对话学习、听力、情景交际问答、小组合作研究等方式组织教学。

3. 问题引领，培养学生思维品质。本课教学中的不同环节分别涉及了猜测、预测、分析性、开放性等不同层次的问题，通过问题激发学生思维参与，培养学生深入思考。并引导学生学会提问，逐步训练学生的思维品质。
