I、Teaching Content Analysis This lesson is taken from the New Beginning English, the second semester of grade3. This book has six units and this lesson is the third lesson of Unit four. The content of this lesson is to learn a new dialogue. The usual lesson3 of each unit is to learn a text, but this lesson is a dialogue, so it’s a little more simple. The contents of this unit is to learn about the family. The students have learned some of the family's expression in grade2, in this book they will keep learning. Besides, the description of the appearance of and the description of the clothes also review the contents of the first semester of grade3. Unit1、2、3 of this book have learned the school curriculum schedule, the school classroom distribution and school activities. Starting with this unit, we will learn about the family members and family activities. II、Students Analysis The students of Grade3 have already gained some basic expressions of English. They’ve also had certain abilities to learn by themselves. So it’s important to offer more opportunities for students to understand and

to learn by themselves. Besides, the students like to show and being praised. So I arrange a role-play and a game with reward. III、My Thinking This lesson is not very interesting, so I designed a detective game. It can improve student’s interest when they practice dialogue as detectives and witnesses. I extended a written practice at the same time. It combine the description of appearance of this lesson with description of family members of previous lesson IV、Teaching Objects
