一、导入:

T: Do you want to learn some special things with me? S: Yes! (PPT呈现日历) T: Now, look! What’s this?

S: It's a calendar. (翻开日历) T: Do you know how many days in a year? S: There are 365 days in a year. T:Look! Some days are very special for us,do you think so?Today, we are going to learn some special days. First,let's enjoy a video and find out what is the video about. (播放视频Something About the Holidays) T:What is the video about? S:About holidays. T:Yes,you know some days are very special because they are holidays, right?

(板书出示holiday) 二、新授

1. 学习节日的第一个分类: Holidays。

(1) New Year's Day

For me, I like one special day very much, because it is a holiday. Can you guess what is it? 学生猜想答案。

教师提示: It is the first day of a new year. 教授New Year's Day，强调首字母大写。

T: Do you know when is New Year's Day?

S: It's on January the first. PPT呈现日期。

教授序数词的缩写形式: T: Look! We can write first as "1 and st" for short. And we can write second as "2 and nd" for short. And what about third?

S: 3 and rd. T: What about fourth? S: 4 and th. T: What about fifth? S: 5

and th. T: Wow! You have done a very good job.

T: Do you like New Year's Day? What do you do on

New Year's Day? What do we do on New Year's Day? 学生自由回答。

教师带领学生总结元旦假期可以做的活动。

练习活动: 介绍New Year's Day PPT 给出文本: New Year's Day is on__________. It is the first day of a new year. On New Year's Day, I often_____________. (2) National Day Then, we will learn a special day that I like better, because it is a long holiday. Can you guess?

提示:It is the birthday of our country.引出National Day。

T: When is National Day? S: It's on October 1st. T: What do you do on that day? 学生自由回答。

练习活动:PPT 呈现文本，学生根据文本完成填空，介绍国庆节。

2. 学习节日的第二个分类: For Special People。

（1）学习

Mother's Day 和

Father's Day。

引出:There are some special days for special people. T: Who loves you most, and whom you love most? S: My mother and father. You know there are some special days for our mother and father,do you know what are they? --Mother's

Day and Father's Day. When is Mother's Day and when is Father's Day? 出示: the second Sunday in May 和

the third Sunday in June. What do you do on that day? 给出文本结构，让学生讨论并介绍母亲节和父亲节的活动。

（2）Teachers' Day Someone said:"Teachers' love is like a candle." Do you agree with him? Let's read some sentences about teachers love,OK? 播放背景音乐，让学生朗读关于师爱的句子。

学习教师节名称和日期。

（3）学习儿童节

Next, we will learn a special day which you like most. Guess, what is it?--Children's Day.

学习儿童节名称和日期。

学习儿童节做些什么活动:给出文本框架，让学生探讨并介绍儿童节。

3. 学习节日的第三个分类:其他分类

（1）学习圣诞节

播放圣诞歌曲: We wish you a merry Christmas引出圣诞节名称。

学习圣诞节日期，和西方习俗。

阅读圣诞节故事绘本。

探讨并介绍圣诞节。

（2）学习植树节

学生讨论树的作用。

（PPT呈现树的作用) 了解树的作用。

学习植树节名称和日期。

探讨植树节活动: plant trees, water the plans,

a poster... （3）补充复习生日日期

T: Do you know which special day thday 小组讨论:

When is your birthday? save paper, makeI like best?--bir

What do you do on your birthday? 小组展示

4. 巩固练习

（1）板书呈现:复习每个节日的日期。

（2）听音，将节日排序。

5. 课后活动

现场制作母亲节海报，并进行展示。（在绘画过程中，教师用iPad多屏互动功能，把学生做画过程投射到屏幕上，活跃气氛。）

学生回报:介绍自己的海报。

总结三类节日

: Holidays For Special People Other Special Days

作业: Create a new special day and introduce it to your

classmates. 让学生创编一个新的节日，并制作一张海报。

说清楚节日名称，日期和活动。
