Show a picture of a park and have the students talk about it .

2. Use the flashcards to introduce the new words leaves, branch, trunk and roots. 1.

Put up a picture of a tree. Point the different parts of the tree and ask questions.

Have the students look at the picture on p46 carefully and answer your questions.

Have the students listen to the recording and repeat after it.
