Lesson 4 Who Is Thirsty?

知识目标:听懂会说tea, water ,pop, milk等表示饮料的词汇,掌握并理解单词some.听懂会说句型What would you like to drink? Would you like ……? 并用英语回答,与同学之间相互交流。

能力目标:培养学生能通过感知,模仿进而在真实情境中运用所学语言,

情感目标:调动学生学习的积极性,使学生在不断体验成功的同时,增强英语学习的信心,培养合作参与精神,树立正确的人生观,价值观。

教学重难点:

掌握tea, water, pop, milk,some等词汇

在实际情境中正确运用句型What would you like to drink? Would you like ……? 教学准备:单词卡片,实物教具,教学光盘,多媒体课件

教学过程:

Step1: Class Opening and Review 1.Greeting T: Hi, boys and girls! How are you today? I’m very happy. Are you happy? Ok, then let’s sing an English song. 2.song:If you’re happy and you know it

[设计意图]通过简单的问候,营造活跃轻松的课堂气氛,使学生带着积极的心态投入到课堂中。

3.Play game: draw and guess (review about drinks words: tea , water, pop, milk) [设计意图] 通过游戏环节,进行复习,既活跃了课堂气氛,又为下面的学习作了铺垫。

Step 2 : New concept 1. 拿一壶水和几个杯子在教室走动,请学生喝水。

T: Who is thirsty? Are you thirsty? S1: I am thirsty. T: Would you like some water? S1: Yes, please.(请他喝水) S2: No, thank you. T: What would you like to drink? Would you like some tea?

S2: Yes , please. [设计意图] 通过创设真实的情境帮助学生理解重点句型的意思及使用环境

2.点击课件出示各种饮品图,每一饮品都标明:some 或a glass of milk/pop/water, a cup of tea. T: Look! This is a restaurant. Now, I’m a waitress. What would you like to drink?

教师扮演服务员与学生进行对话,手拿实物

T: Can I help you? S: Yes, I’m thirsty.

T: Would you like some tea? S: No, thanks T: Would you like some pop? S: No, thanks T: What would you like to drink? S: I would like some milk. (1)讲授不可数名词的修饰词some,并举例(some chicken ,some dumplings, some fish, some fruit, some meat, some noodles, some rice ,some French fries ,some pizza )

(2)Who want to be a little waitress? 请学生当服务员模仿进行谈话

(3)请同学展示

[设计意图] 通过给学生创设一个真实的情景去感受语言,让他们在玩乐中无意的习得了新授的语言,使学生对语言的意义与语言的使用环境有一个整体感知。

3.Let’s play a game! Do actions. Who wants to try? 在找到两名勇士之后,教师发出指令, walk backwards.然后让这两个同学比赛看谁跑的快,根据比赛结果说:“ He’s quick. He’s slow.”

4 点击课件出示李明等人在火车上的图片

T: Look, who are they? S: Li Ming , Jenny and Danny. T: Where are they? S: On the train . T: Good! Li Ming, Jenny and Danny are traveling to Beijing .Do you want to know what happened? Now, listen(播放教学光盘) Then answer the question .

Q: 1Who is thirsty? 2. What would Jenny like to drink? 3. What would Danny like to drink? 4.Why Jenny and Li Ming are slow? 跟录音读课文,分角色读课文。

[设计意图]让学生带着问题进行有意义的听,使学生对课文有整体感知。并通过回答问题,使学生更加深入的理解课文内容。

Step 3 Practice 1.将学生分成5人一组,每组学生组织一段关于口渴和想喝东西的对话,教师给予一定的提示。(1.去同学家做客2.大家去公园玩3.去快餐厅)用词卡代表饮品。

For example: A:Hello, __. Where are you going? B:I’m going to the park. But I am thirsty.

A: What would you like to drink? B: I would like some water, please. A: OK. Here you are. B: Thanks very much. 2 请同学展示,并鼓掌欢迎。

[设计意图] 通过小组情境对话操练使学生对本课所学能有一个融会贯通的运用,使本课知识在具体操练中得到巩固和掌握。对每一个表演的同学表示欢迎,并鼓掌祝贺。
