一、教学目标

1.语言知识目标

学习一些有关动物的词语以及形容动物特征的形容词：snake,elephant,giraffe,tiger,long,short,tall,big,small和句型The ...is...及These...are...并能综合运用这些词语和句子。

2.语言技能目标

全体学生能听懂、会说：These snakes are short. The giraffes are tall. 能运用本节课所学语言以迷你书的形式介绍自己参观过的动物园里的动物及其特征。

3.德育目标

培养学生热爱动物、不能以大欺小等良好品德。

二、教学重难点

1.教学重点：创设语言情景，听说认读有关动物的词语以及形容动物特征的形容词，初步学会运用句型The ...is...及These...are...描述动物的特征。

2.教学难点：激发学生的求知欲，创设情景，让学生运用long/short/tall/big/small和句型The ...is...及These...are...等句子来描述动物。

三、学情分析

本次授课对象为一年级学生，有了一些英语学习基础，已初步了解一些英语形容词和一些基本句型。学习英语的热情和积极性很高，对动物感兴趣。

四、课前准备

1．教师准备课文课件。

2．学生准备好mini book（动物图片已涂好色）。

五、教学过程

（一）Warming--up 1.

Sing a song<> 2.

Listen and guess: What are they? They are....（听动物的叫声，猜测动物）

Let’s chant. 引出和复习句型：Look at the...It’s.../They are....（形容词）

（二）Presentation 1.Look and say (Talk about the pictures of this lesson ）

(通过观察图片和对比，初步理解small的意思) 2.watch the video and think : What happen? （思想教育，不能以大欺小）

3.Teach the new word “small” and the sentences：The dog is big. The cat is small.The elephant is very big. 4.Read after the tape and try to act out the dialogue. 5.创设情景：Go to the zoo(part2 of this less) (1) Watch the video(课文视频)，and answer “ What animals you can see at the zoo?”(circle the pictures)

Learn ”snake,long,short”。通过对比，学习和理解snake和它的复数形式以及long 和short.

(3) Learn ”giraffe ,tall,short” . 通过对比，学习和理解giraffe的复数形式以及tall,和short.
