【教学目标】

（一）知识目标

1. 通过整体阅读等方式理解并掌握story time的内容。

2. 通过查阅单词表、字典、猜测词义等方式听懂、会说、会读单词：buy presents, Father Christmas, a Christmas tree, Christmas Eve, put, stocking, Christmas Day, turkey, pudding, next, then, finally. 3. 能够基本掌握顺序词：First, then, next, finally…并且尝试运用到描述自己日常生活。

（二）能力目标

1. 学会有步骤地阅读，了解西方的重要节日“圣诞节”的有关活动和习俗。

2. 通过小组合作学习，品读细节，尝试复述story time. （三）情感目标

1. 能够在阅读过程中体验到阅读的乐趣，喜爱阅读英语绘本故事。

2. 解西方的重要节日“圣诞节”的有关活动和习俗,从而让学生喜欢这个节日。

【课前先学】

1. Learn the new words by yourselves. 查字典将Word Bank中的单词的音标和中文意思写下来，掌握其读音，为小组汇报作准备。

1）Check the answers.

Eve, at Christmas”进行归类。

3) 教授副词：first, next, then, finally，学生接小龙描述圣诞活动。

S3: Then, they put pretty things on the Christmas tree.

了解学生对于圣诞节习俗的了解情况，引入目标词汇。

让学生其在组内汇报课前对新单词的预习，接着进行小组预习汇报展示，提醒其余学生倾听、评价。学生若不能准确读出present, Christmas的读音，可在小组汇报时进行示范、纠正，小组汇报后再进行检测。

学生可能不理解教师分段的意图，教师可给出一些提示，使其理解。部分学生不理解意思，教师可让知道的学生为大家解释。

学生仅仅只是看图是不能解决问题的，所以在这个环节中教师要提醒学生注意去文中寻求答案。

让学生了解这些副词的用法。

学生在朗读的基础上回答这些问题应该是，没有问题的。提醒学生注意第三题中动词的第三人称单数的变化。
