I. Teaching aims

1. Knowledge aims:

a) Enable the students to learn the features and test points of grammatical filling.

b) Get the students to grasp some set rules and have a deeper understanding of this item.

2. Ability aim:

At the end of the class, students are able to use these skills.

3. Moral aim:

Help students build their confidence and arouse their interest in learning

English.

II. Teaching important point

Grasp the practical strategies of grammatical filling and learn to analyze

sentence structures.

III. Teaching difficult point

Learn to analyze sentence structures to fill in the correct forms of verbs.

IV. Teaching methods

Multi-media computer ，group work ，discussion，interaction

V. Teaching procedures

Step one:

Warming up 1. Greeting

2. Check out the homework paper sheet about various forms of words.

Step two:

Leading-in

Let the students think which part of the entrance exams these words can be used

Step three: Pre-task

Students are asked to summarize how the grammatical filling is designed.

Purpose: to prepare for the strategies that will be used in grammatical filling.

Step four: Task

1. Group work: Discuss the possible answers to the blanks in sentences and show their answers one by one. Then summarize the tips to fill in these kinds of blanks.

The content includes: n., v., adj., adv. , pron., prep., conj, art.,

2. Group work: Use the strategies summarized right now to discuss the possible answers to the blanks in a passage and show their answers.

Purpose: to help the students think out the strategies that can be used in grammatical filling

Step five：Post-task
