Analysis of the Teaching Material The content of my lesson is a reading material from uint15 whose topic is about “Learning” Through the learning of Lesson 4 Understanding, I’ll enable students to know more about how to learn to understand things and the qualities that lead to undersatnding.At the same time, making the students aware of critical thinking in understanding is of great importance.

Teaching Aims (1）Knowledge Aim : The students will be able to

have a good understanding about the reading material of Lesson4 Understanding and to know ways to understand things. (2)

Ability Aims: The students will be able to improve their reading ability by using the reading strategies of skimming and scanning. To master the stucture of the whole text. To retell the reading material with the clues of some key words. (3)Emotion and Attitude Abilities The students will be able to know our great civilisation in the past . to inspire the spirit of exporation . to cutivate the students' awareness of critical thingking.
